Very pleasant pub to spend a few hours. Good drinks, reasonable prices, nice to have outside space where there’s space between tables. Staff were all helpful and friendly, food was good, quick service, very tasty and good value. Dog friendly and live acts on a Sunday afternoon watching the world go by was great
Nice enough pub top of Polperro, decent garden area. Cozy inside, just wish more local ales apart from usual Sharps and St.AustellService: 5/5
Only went for a drink but lovely place we'll definitely be going for food at some point.Service: 5/5
Have been visiting Polperro for many years, had one evening dinner here and drinks outside across our weeks stay, good value. Great place to sit outside in the sun and relax. Food menu is limited in comparison to previous years, however Spaghetti Bolognaise was really fantastic, none of the legendary cheesecakes on the dessert menu, not sure if this was due to the time of year but the Crumplehorn was always renowned for its cheesecake - please put them back on ! As I’ve been visiting Polperro year on year I do feel the Crumplehorn is looking tired inside and out and needs to some work, again just my view. It’s the first place you spot in the village upon arriving and on a dull day it looks dull and somewhat drab now, i thought the same last year but in my view it’s no different in looks to last year, it seams that since it’s now owned by a bigger group it’s lost some of its Cham and sparkle.
Visited this pub for dinner and the young lady behind the bar with long red hair so sorry we didn't get your name was SO welcoming, helpful and an absolute delight and credit to the pub. She found us a table, greeted us with a smile which has been rare at other places and gave some great recommendations. Really enjoyed our evening out predominantly thanks to this lady! Would recommend. Lovely place and good food.
Had an absolute blast here on a Thursday lunchtime, family and our dog were welcomed, locals were very friendly as was the barmaid. Food wise we only had cheesy chips, onion rings etc but the portion sizes was plenty.Food: 5/5
Great old pub at the top of polperro, staff are super helpful and service very good. Lots of seating outside for hot summer day's and cosy seating inside too. Food is always hot and tasty. Great selection of wine's and beer. A little difficult to access if you are disabled requiring a wheelchair if you need to get inside. But overall a great place to visit and polperro is outstandingly beautiful and interesting to see if you are walking the coastal path well worth a visit
Had a nice meal, prompt service would recommendFood: 5/5
Been coming here for the last thirty years. Food used to be great. New owners don't seem to know what they are doing and trying to modernise the menu with curries and spicy food. Served us outside using plastic cutlery and cardboard takeaway boxes. Food only just warm. There were very few customers in a place that used to be seriously busy. Another spoiled destination for us and lots of other regular visitors it seems. A real shame!
Food was good, chips a bit disappointing, Large portions too much for me! Overall pretty good. Lovely old pub and restaurant with plenty of outside seating.
