I recently stayed at the Hilton in Glasgow and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The rooms were impeccably clean and extremely comfortable, making for a truly relaxing stay. The staff at the hotel and the restaurant were exceptional - friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that guests had a wonderful stay. Also, I must add that the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. A special thank you to Lazarus for providing exceptional service that truly went above and beyond. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our trip unforgettable. I highly recommend the Hilton in Glasgow to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel experience.
On arriving we parked in the underground car park which was very small & hard to manoeuvre around. It also wasn't apparent that the car park had 2 levels until we entered the hotel. I had looked on the website for details of the parking which basically gave the price and nothing more so would suggest more information is given. The room was a very good size, clean and quiet. Breakfast was very busy and some items were difficult to find. The area for the buffet breakfast was too small for the amount of people at breakfast. Also the member of staff who led us to our table didn't explain that you had to go to another counter for toast, tea and coffee. When you did get your toast the butter and spreads were in some random place so not easy to find. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the food at breakfast was good.
After been out and enjoying the night life of Glasgow, the service we received when returning back to the hotel was shocking!! Asking for id & room number, even though we said our full names and the floor we was stopping on. Absolutely shocking and put a downer on our night. After finally letting us through, when standing at the lift the night manager & another colleague was laughing! Rooms very tidy / clean. Food very nice.
Love this hotel and will give an update hopefully in a few weeks. Staff never let you down, from arrival to departure. Rooms are quite nice and the atmosphere is good. Stay tuned for update with photosRooms: 5/5
The hotel itself is nice, rooms are clean, and staff are responsive. HOWEVER, we went one night to the restaurant in the hotel. First of all, we waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order, mind you the restaurant was empty and we tried getting the waiters attention for a very long time. im not sure if he was ignoring us or didn’t want to take our table anyways, the cutlery was dirty and placed straight on the table underneath no napkin, which is just nasty. I wanted a napkin, waiting for 15 minutes, again tried getting the waiters attention no response, my food had gone cold at this point mind you the waiters were happily helping everyone else and chit chatting with them, not us. Afterwards i wanted dessert, and guess what! no body came to take our order even though they looked straight at me while my hand was up. at this point i wanted to see how long it would take for someone to come by, it was like a game! Later we talked with the manager, he was very nice. The funniest thing is that the waiter only came to us whilst we were talking to the manager. Where was he during the last hour and a half, when i was essentially begging for his time. also the whole restaurant was filled with no people of color and being among the only few people of color we were treated differently
Great service, clean, and comfortable. It was difficult to work in the room as there isn't a proper desk or table. The gym was busy at times but was well-kept and had enough space for all users. Overall, an excellent start. Rooms: Small and contemporary with comfortable beds.
Very busy tourist hotel there was also an arts convention in town. Very walkable to pubs and restaurants. Rooms were clean and well sized. Big group dinner at the restaurant seemed a little challenging for the servers, but the food was good.Rooms: 4/5
We're just checking out after a fantastic stay here. We'd booked one room then needed to book another one a few days before getting here and on check in they'd kindly arranged adjoining rooms. Staff are absolutely brilliant, kind, exceptional customer service in every section. Food was lovely, brilliant vegetarian range. Pool and leisure facilities are nice and clean - we were able to book slots and use twice during our 3 night stay. Just to mention a few people in particular - Nikos on reception and Lazaras in the Restaurant, but honestly all the staff everywhere in the hotel are amazing.
We had a lovely stay. After a long day at transmit the hotel provided us with a lovely breakfast that refuelled us. All staff were great, friendly and professional. We would definitely stay here again in heartbeat.Rooms: 5/5
Amazing place to stay in Glasgow. It’s 5-10 blocks from the crowds, very comfortable, and the staff are very accommodating. However, the entrance and exit to the hotel are tricky. On foot you walk a block north of the hotel up large stairs. By car, you drive through a service entrance on the east side.Rooms: 5/5
