Went to this Theatre with friends to watch the show “2:22” and I must admit the show was great! The whole theatre was looking beautiful from the inside, the restrooms were hygienic and the seating in the theatre was also decent. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!
Proper old West End theatre with a sense of history. I was in row R in the stalls - the overhang of the balcony doesn't block your view from there but is obvious! I saw Juno and the Paycock. Highly recommended.
Really enjoyed Opening Night. Grand Circle seats had a good view of the stage. Staff were great and dealt exceptionally well with a medical emergency during the interval. Older theatre, beautiful interior. Advised where cast and Sheridan Smith would be after the show. Had pics taken with a couple of the cast. Sheridan Smith was a joy. The theatre is a five minute walk from Piccadilly tube station on Shaftesbury Avenue.
Typical West End theatre, very aesthetically pleasing and a real feeling of history throughout the building. I've seen some excellent shows here and have always had a good experience. The interior of the building is well-maintained and the staff are excellent. It's handily located, right in the heart of the West End, near several landmarks and transport links, so easy enough to access. A few issues on my last visit: I chose seats in the top section- the Grand Circle. Wouldn't go for these again as you're right up in the gods and didnt have a great view. As I was off to the side as well there was a railing obstructing my view and people constantly going back and forth. Also the bar near the Grand Circle was shut, meaning the one at the lower level was super busy. Would probably choose seats in a different area next time. Aside from those issues I'd definitely return. Shows I've seen have all been great and the ticket prices, when booked in advance, were reasonable.
We had a lovely time and absolutely loved the interior and architecture of the theatre. The staff were brilliant, very polite and helpful. We watched 2.22 A Ghost story and we loved it.
Lovely theatre, very elegant buliding inside. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We came to see 2:22, a ghost story, which was very entertaining, nice twist at the end.
Went to see 222, good show. Sat in row L - good seats ok leg room for a two hour show and a good view of the stage. Little cut off from the left of the stage but didn't miss much from what I could tell.
Lovely time spent at the theatre to see the 2.22 ghost story, and was fortunate to get £22 lottery tickets with a good view in the stalls row N. In a busy prime location near to piccadilly circus tube station.
Brilliant venue. Went to see 2:22 and it was amazing! Great cast, shame that James Buckley wasn’t on that night even though I had booked tickets just to see him but everything was brilliant!
Beautiful theatre, very comfortable seats. 4 mins walk from Piccadilly Circus.
