Absolutely beautiful theatre! A dream of my wife to see Moulin Rouge in London and yesterday was our special visit to watch this amazing performance. Everyone involved was fantastic and so talented. The set was breathtaking from the moment we entered the theatre. We will treat ourselves to this epic show again in the future for sure! Even the rickshaws out the front were dressed up and playing the music from the show to entice you for a ride - brilliant!
Despite being seated in the very last row of the entire theatre at M25 and M26, I felt that the view was alright. Sure, I couldn’t really make out the actors’ faces very well, but I was still able to enjoy the visual aspects of the performance. My view was largely unobstructed by people’s heads and I could actually see the stage compared to the poorly designed theatre for Phantom of the Opera, where all you see is the backs of people’s heads. The seats were comfortable enough, although the rows were a tight squeeze. The main downside for me was the railing in front of me. It was at eye level, so I either had to lean forward or sit back and tilt my head downward to get a view of the stage. The performance itself was great. If you’ve not been living under a rock, you’re bound to recognise some tunes, especially since they’ve included some contemporary songs. Overall, I had an enjoyable experience watching Moulin Rouge at this theatre.
A wonderful old traditional London theatre beautifully maintained and refurbished. The spectacular set of the production of Moulin rouge spread beyond the stage and into the boxes and the production itself is superb.
Went to see Moulin Rouge. Outstanding performance Theatre was lovely, spacious seats which makes a change and staff are very welcoming.
The show itself was incredible, with outstanding performances that created a memorable experience. Unfortunately, the overall enjoyment was somewhat diminished by poor management of the bar and toilet queues during intervals, especially since some toilets were blocked off without notice. Certain areas became extremely overcrowded, leading to discomfort and frustration. Better crowd management would have significantly enhanced the experience.
Quite a beautiful theatre in the heart of London. Moulin rouge was just mind blowing and would recommend everyone to go and watch it. I wish they had lift in the theatre.
Went to a Matinee of Moulin Rouge. Lovely little theatre. If you download their app you can order drinks and snacks without leaving your seat. The show was superb. Great cast and the performances were excellent. Tickets for a show of this quality were unbelievable at only £25 each. The reception the cast got at the end was very deserved
Wow, moulin rouge is quite the production! Seats in the grand circle are great value and very comfortable but I am tempted to splash out and return a 2nd time in the stalls. Lines for the bars and toilets were totally manageable.
Lovely theatre was there to see Moulin Rouge which was exceptional, I just wish that the drinks which are quite expensive matched the pricing. You really need to wipe the drinks menu clean and start again and use better ingredients please
Went to see Moulin Rouge and was my first time at the theatre. Beautiful production, full of details. The staging and effects were incredible. Choreographies were stunning. The whole production is worth seeing for yourself. Real treat. Can get pretty cheap tickets if you go on your own on a last minute trip. Can get drinks delivered during the interval to your seat using a qr code. Production was about 3h long and there are toilets in all areas.
