A beautiful building with a beautiful outside earing area. Staff were friendly kind polite and efficient. Special thank you to Titus and the lovely young lady who served our lunch. So sorry I didn't get her name. The meal was gorgeous well cooked very well presented and a reasonable price. Certainly on our pop in again when we are out that way. So we are saying well worth a visit. Xx
Food was Amazing Fresh and very good quality, steaks cook to perfection for all of us, staff friendly and helpful we would definitely recommend going.
More than 5 star. Lovely bar personnel. We stayed the night in the car park in our motorhome. A couple of nice beers in pub. Unfortunately they don't do food on Mondays. So they advised us to go to the Chinese over the road. Which we did and the food was lovely. Gotta go back sometime and have a meal in the pub.
Very pleasant country pub. Made to feel welcome. Quick and efficient service by friendly staff. Called in for Sunday Lunch after visiting the Anglo Saxon church there. Reasonably priced Sunday Roast. Small £7.99 and large £9.99. Small still a good plate full. Lots of meat. Most enjoyable-lovely atmosphere.
Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here the food was amazing they even had alternative food from roast lunch which also looked amazing, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I can't wait to return to eat here again
Popped in for lunch , a party of 6 mixed ages from 4yo to 80yo plenty of choice for everyone, service was excellent, dog friendly, would definitely recommend ,
Had the pensioner three courses, and it was amazing, very classy, not just thrown on the plate. Every time I have even here,the food has been of a very high standard.
Eaten twice there in recent weeks. Enjoyed both occasions with enjoyable food at reasonable prices and great service same member of staff both times. We'll be back!
Excellent meal. Friendly pub. Highly recommend
Staff lovely. Outside area great. Need an updated coffee machine it was just about drinkable.
