Had a fabulous Sunday lunch with family and our dog in a lovely traditional setting. The trio of roasts was excellent with the offer of extra gravy if wanted, and all washed down with some extremely well-kept ales and a good selection of wines. Would whole-heartedly recommend this place. Harry was great and very helpful, as were the rest of the serving team.

Came here with some colleagues after work. Great service and food at a reasonable price. I had the duck Pizza followed by the white chocolate cheesecake trio and both were great. We will be back in the hopefully not to distant future.

Great place for lunch. Great atmosphere and lovely to sit and spend some time with friends in a lovely setting food was lush! I had a soup and duck salad which was divine. Prices are reasonable and nicely presented

Enjoyed our visit here this morning and the food was very good indeed. My highlight was the scallops starter which was a welcome departure from a normal Sunday lunch.

Fantastic eggs Benedict, thanks Chef Bogdan, super friendly service from Megan and the team, and great coffee. The best decorated toilets, worth visiting in their own right. Warming log fires, nicely curated gentrified rural atmosphere. All in all the perfect brunch spot for a country walk.Food: 5/5

Great pub! We went for a birthday brunch and it was very special. The only thing I would change about the meal is to have the chargrilled chorizo more chargrilled, but otherwise it was delicious.

The adults meals were very nice. Slightly disappointed with the terrine starter, and the brandy sauce for the Xmas pudding was bland. We had one children's meal, which was a pizza, this was very poor indeed. Service and the atmosphere were good. As a family we enjoyed the experience and would do it again.

I had a good quality steak which was cooked to medium rare just as I wanted. Lots of options, i struggled to choose. My wife's food was also really good and she loved her pudding too. We were served by Megan who was quick to take our order and was really helpful in choosing what options she would recommend. Would highly recommend the food and the service. Can't have one without the other. Hence my 5* review.

Passing through looking for a spontaneous place for a spot of Lunch. It was our first time here with wife and two toddlers, and we absolutely loved the experience here and the food and drinks were lovely. Furthermore, the staff esp. Millie and manager at the time Sat 17th Sept between 12:45-14:45 were very accommodating and friendly along with the waiter and waitresses who served us. Will definitely be back next time we pass through again. Cheers. BR Will
