We came here as we were staying next door @ Sedgebrook hall, the pub was amazing! Outside is stunning, loads of seating area. Inside is very clean and well decorated. Felt like we had come to a top restaurant. Service was amazing. Staff very helpful and jolly. We had king prawns for starters which were amazing. The flavours were spot on. Main course I had pork belly, which just melted in my mouth. Once again full of flavour. My partner had mushroom linguine which was also very tasty. I also had a couple of cocktails which were very nice! All in all an amazing place to go for a bite to eat. Price was very reasonable for the standard of the food. Would highly recommend. 5 Stars
Had a Beautiful Fish and chips with a lovely Hot chocolate and cream and marshmallows. Then went for a lovely walk . Recommend this definitely.. My Cara dog got free water and Biscuits
Came here as was staying next door at Sedgebrook Hall. It was a Friday night and so so busy but it didn’t put us off! The manager gave us free drinks due to having to wait longer for our booked table to become available! Good customer service! :D The food was absolutely amazing!! Delicious, Tasty, full of flavour. Was very good. Nothing was too much for these guys. If in the area will definitely be coming again! Thank you :
Great venue to visit. Not amazing food. But "good" food. A little pricey, but service was good, food was good. Beers where expensive, 5.65 a moretti. A double burger at £18 was excessive pricing. Almost profiteering. There are alot better out there. A good example being I can pay 18 here or see the UK contenders for best burger or food fit and pay half the price. Possibly a captive market, but it doesn't sit comfortably. I understand the business needs to make a profit but there is a line to consumers where it becomes commercial suicide as nobody will want to "upgrade" due to the profiteering.
A beautiful pub inside and around its surroundings outside. It was cosy, clean and well maintained. The staff were all friendly but are let down by the slow service despite it not being too busy. The food was of high quality and reasonably priced. I would visit again.
Food was nice, although the fries were a little soggy. During the hot days in summer there are BBQ’s and a lovely area to sit outside. Staff are friendly and there are lots of different meals to choose from.
This is a very nice pub and the member of staff who served us was wonderful and cheerful! I can't say what the waitress's name was because they weren't wearing name badges. I'm being picky by giving this pub only 4 stars because a. The music was too loud and b. They weren't serving sandwiches that day and the fish finger sandwich was the reason we had gone. The deluxe hit chocolate was nice if a little tasteless and I had finished it long before the food came out of the kitchen.
Beautiful food. Great staff. Any problems they will sort it. There was a mistake with our starters. They apologised sorted it really quickly gave us some drinks on the house. The chef knows his craft. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Very few chefs could ever give me steak just the way I want is. This chef was the chef. Well done to the chef.
Next to the Sedgebrook Hall nice alt to the hotel if you fancy a change for your meal. Very busy though quick service Food was delicious Lovely railway next door and a lake
6/5 - T the best pub meal I've had in a long while, cuisine bougee level, was worth the wait. Absolutely . I'd drive an hour again to dine there. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I want more...hahaha That
