Been impressed with the cleanliness of it. Lovely garden, lots of sunshades tables. Welcomed dogs. The food was at an reliable price and amazing taste. The girls had so much fun. Free parking plenty of spaces available even on a crowded day. Will definitely recommend to families with children and to the paws owners

We took our Mums out for Sunday lunch after hearing good things about the food here. Sadly very disappointed, expect vegetables to be al dente but these, especially the broccoli and carrots were hard verging on solid. Mothers had pork and chicken which they enjoyed but our beef was inedible. It was tough, cut wrong, overcooked and tasteless. I didn't even bring it home for our dog. Such a shame as had visited before, not recently, and the pub has a great selection of ales but sadly based on today's meal, we won't be back. Unfortunately we also overheard two other tables making complaints.
Such a warm welcome here, an amazing selection of beers and gins, great food, lovely laid back vibe.
Phoned on Thurs for 20 on sat evening , which changed to 24 on the night . The food was superb as really friendly atmosphere.
It is not often a pub gets it right on so many levels. I can highly recommend the Artichoke for a lovely meal, good portions, great service and friendly atmosphere. We were a party of 20 and all the food arrived quickly, warm and together, the children were served first and everything was seamless and we never felt rushed or hurried throughout our ample courses. All of the staff were very helpful and provided excellent personal customer service for everyone despite our numbers. The Artichoke is clearly one of the best pub dining experiences in Northampton.
