Thought I'd love this place given the spectacular reviews from others, but left feeling underwhelmed. The food was just fine given the standard they are going for. We had the tasting menu and, compared to other similar restaurants, I can't say that there was really anything that stood out. We also had the wine pairing. While they were very generous with the pours, we were quite surprised at the lack of detail given when the wines were described. I expect to be told where it's from, what the flavour is like and perhaps something about the winemaker. Just saying, "this is a red wine, a malbec from Argentina" isn't really good enough. Having said that, service was generally good but small things were missed (like asking if we wanted more bread after we finished the first small piece). I don't expect such a lack of attention to detail that at this price point or for somewhere with a Michelin star.

This is the sort of restaurant my partner can only afford to eat at maybe once a year and we were not disappointed by our annual choice! All of the staff were welcoming and informed, we were made to feel very relaxed as the setting was not overly formal (we didn't get that 'oh god, they know we don't belong here!' feeling e.g. no judgment for ordering a glass of wine rather than an entire bottle). I can't wait to return, when my wallet allows!

Had great expectations for this restaurant but left a bit disappointed. We did the tasting menu and the food was nice, but nothing remarkable, just ok. You would expect being surprised by the food in a Michelin star restaurant. Ingredients were really fresh and tasty though. Wine wise, we didn't get any explanation during the pairing while being served so few times we had to ask for the location. Overall and for the price tag, I wouldn't recommend it.

We did the vegan tasting menu and it was about 30 times nicer than the second best place I've ever eaten at. Every mouthful was a flavour explosion. The best food I've ever had.

Out of this world - romantic setting, delicious food, amazing wine and great service. It is pricy but worth every penny. A great place to treat yourself/be treated.
