Had a perfect lunch here, with great food and wonderful service. We ordered the roast rump cap of beef, and a steak and kidney pie. Both yummy. The freshly-made horseradish was something else to shout about too. Will definitely come back again.

Had an amazing dinner here on a Monday evening. Wonderful decor with attentive and friendly staff. The food was spectacular, game is the specialty here, the pheasant and the wild boar was delicious. Highly recommended if you want to experience a proper English restaurant that has maintained high standards for many years.

Enjoyed the bar more than the restaurant. The bar staff was friendly and welcoming; the restaurant not so much. It's hard to feel welcome when the first thing out of.your host's mouth is a warning about when you are required to give up your reserved table.

Great venue to experience British food. Staff was friendly and attentive, as well as well informed and trained. Premises and facilities were very clean. Was very busy for a Tuesday night, after the theatre. Uncertain if a reservation is required, however, I would certainly advise having one.

An experience not to be missed! We travel to London frequently and always enjoy a trip to Rules. For those who enjoy the charm of a truly authentic English establishment, this place is for you. The scalloped potatoes are to due for!
