A brilliant local cycling store for bike repairs, advice and maintenance. The guys here know there stuff and are never pushy on trying to sell you items. I was so grateful to see they had opened the shop prior to the recent Bristol Audax on the Air Mail 200km. A few bicycle inner tubes purchased and got myself a nice new drinking bottle. It’s bicycle stores like this that will keep us cyclists riding. Please please use them rather than lose them. They love to chat and meet like minded fellow cyclists.
Recently bought a beautiful condor fratello build from Gary and had an absolute class experience. He gave so much care and energy to understanding my needs and helping me select components, through multiple conversations, and on the day I picked it up his day off! we spent multiple hours testing and adjusting, talking about which accessories i might need for an upcoming trip, and also with him showing me how different parts come together so I can maintain it well. He also built it in record time so I could make it to a special event. This felt like a bike built with care and passed to me, rather than a transactional purchase. Travelled from London and will keep returning. Thanks for everything !
These guys are awesome!! I was halfway through my cycle ride on a new bike when I noticed the disc brakes were rubbing. I was turned away by a bunch of bike stores but these guys were happy to help and got me back on the road in no time!! Jamie and Harry were very friendly and offered great advice, thank you so much!!
Five star plus. Picked up my new E bike today. Its brilliant, I love it. All thanks to Gary, who shared his knowledge and listened to me and understood what would best suit me. He wasn't wrong. He answered our questions, nothing was too much trouble. My sister and I received excellent customer service not just from Gary but from Tom too. Coffee was also very nice. Will get the bike serviced at Gary's. This business really is a gem sitting in Hambrook, Bristol. Good honest service from a very approachable business owner. Big thank you.
I just wanted to share what a great team Gary and his team are. They did a great job bringing my well worn bike back to life last week. And earlier today, when I popped in, without an appointment for some tuning issues that I had caused, they were more than happy to bring it straight in, and fine tune the bike, which. now runs like a dream. I wouldn’t go anywhere else - fantastic customer service!
Just had its first full service done on my treasured Liv road bike. I also took the opportunity to have a little upgrade on the gearing. Gary and Jamie took time to talk through what needed doing for the service and also what was involved for the upgrade. I dropped her off on Saturday, she was ready on Tuesday. Can’t fault that. Anyway, rode her home today and she rode like a dream. Thank you guys. I’m a very happy customer.
Great customer service from passionate riders who are interested and helpful. The mechanic Gary was absolutely amazing and went the extra lengths to sort my bike for a ride the next day!
Absolutley super service, could not ask for anything more, this was above and beyond. Context - I popped in this afternoon with a fitment problem on my new chain and chainring that id purchased online and tried to fit myself, something was off, so i thought id try GH Cycles as it was close and id not been before. After having a brief chat about the problem and describing the issue I believe it was Gary I was asked if it was possible to get the bike in this afternoon and they'd take a quick look for me, already super impressed that they were willing to even take a look, off i went to get the bike. Gary got to work diagnosing the issue and the best course of action was a new chainring which luckily they had one of in stock to fit, and after it was installed it rode soooo much better and all worked together as it should, Gary took the time to walk me through the issue, show me the problem and addressed a few other niggling issues for me too. I would absolutley recommend these guys, super professional, super friendly and I would without a shadow of doubt go back in future. The Shop - Really well stocked for a smaller outfit, if they dont have it they'd be able to get it with ease in just a few days, everything for Road bikes to MTB's and more, a great range of budget parts aswell as high end premium choices and best of all, FREE PARKING!
All the guys were super helpful getting my bike back on the road, despite its best efforts to resist them. Gary's knowledge is second-to-none and the commitment shown by Jamie, Tom and the attention to detail from Harry despite staying on well past the shop's closing time was genuinely impressive. Can't recommend them strongly enough.
Out of the blue visit, needed help in fixing a puncture and removing a bolt. The team could not have been any more helpful. In-depth knowledge on bikes as well as a clear passion to ride. Warm and friendly store in which I can't wait to go back to for any future bicycle needs. Great to have a shop of this standard available in the city. A real gem. Thank you to all the team for the help provided.
