Argos offers the most complete in house renovation service in the U.K. From a pre-war Hetchins to the latest aluminium/ carbon frameset can all be handled by ourselves.

Stove enamelling to framesets can be as simple as a single colour finish, to a multi coloured design with full transfer set fitted, we offer a wide range of colours, colour matching is also possible.

As a family we have three Argos bikes, all over 20 years old. I remember a Swiss cyclist looking at my bike in Spain and saying it was a work of art - that’s how I feel about it too. They’ve been reconfigured over that time as our needs/ abilities have changed. Dealing with the Argos team over those years makes me so happy about the choice we made. Their knowledge and advice is first rate and the willingness to share it very generous. This is an outstanding bike builder.
We have used Argos Racing Cycle for years and they undertake all of our frame restoration work for our customers. They never fail to impress and the quality of their work is to a super high standard. They have restored so many bikes for us and our customers have been taken back by the quality of their work.
Last week they saved a synapse himod frame £7000 bike in 2009 with full Dura ace 7800, the alluminium seat post insert had de- bonded & had to be removed cleaned and glued with a superior product to factory. Very friendly & knowledgeable, and refreshingly the guys at Argos are not bike snobs , and give the same enthusiasm to sentimental restoration, even if cheaper bicycles . Repair was £80 including VAT that's the minimum workshop engineer charge . I could not recommend them more . I had a stove enamal pink and purple metallic road bike sprayed up 20 years ago , the bike is still fine cosmetically after 20 years regular use . Cheers
Really great service from these guys. Went in with my steel framed Thorn with the front brake pivot snapped off, a day before my cycle tour. Mark took the bike in and had new pivot brazed on and back to me the next day. Brilliant workmanship, honest service and reasonable pricing. Frame painting looked mint, if I ever needed a paint job I would not hesitate to book in.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Argos Racing Cycles, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The staff at Argos Racing Cycles were incredibly helpful, addressing my needs promptly and providing expert advice. I was particularly impressed by the welcoming atmosphere of the shop, with its tastefully decorated frames . Argos Racing Cycles has certainly earned my trust and loyalty as a customer. Highly recommended!
First-class work. They welded a cracked Bianchi frame - which needed a respray as a result. Flawless paintwork - and they sourced new decals to match all the originals.
I have just collected my Roberts steel frame after a respray and a few mods. As before, perfection is the result. It costs, but the quality stands out. My Claud Butler was resprayed by them in 2001 and the finish is still outstanding.
I bought a Moulton APB, from a chap in Edinburgh. The suspension front and rear was majorly faulty. Argos managed to save it, restoring the pivot area and also the front suspension pieces. Possibly the only company in the UK able to do so. They are amazing. The bike rides brilliantly. Thankyou...
WE LOVE ARGOS! Such a sensational and professionally run outfit. Everything about this company deserves 5 stars from communication to advising on areas to the final result. Nothing is ever an issue with these guys. Couldn't recommend them enough!
I had the pleasure of dealing with Argos cycles and I can hand on heart say that if you like your bike their probably is not a better place in the UK who could restore your bike, the workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. They are very busy so I had to wait my turn but they exceeded my expectations , Mark dealt with my bike however the whole team are bike people and very friendly and I hope to be getting another bike done soon. Cheers guys
