Lovely place, rammed even on a Tuesday evening. Steak was half price and the tomahawk was very tasty. Side plates came up small but we were stuffed so clearly enough! Sang happy birthday to people and forgot to turn the volume down for a while each time but as soon as we asked it was done. Only thing I would’ve liked is for the water bottle to be left on the table so we could top up our own glasses

Took my wife to Galu for our second anniversary based on a friends recommendation. It did not disappoint! The tomahawk steak was delicious and the guys were so friendly. I look forward to our next visit :

*update - I actually visited this restaurant as a child, and found out it was always serving unique Cyprus & Italian platters! Grandparents convinced me the food back then was much better than my most recent experience. Sharing an old photo!nnBelow average and overpriced.nMenu was paper stapled together; just seems lazy.nMediterranean or Italian?nStaff were friendly enough and accommodating.nHowever, I felt that there is much better quality and value for money elsewhere.

We went on a Tuesday evening and was told that ALL steaks were half price, the decision what to eat was easy as there is a vast menu which is a good thing!. Both steaks cooked to perfection, and they came with chunky chips and salad. The staff were attentive, and the service was excellent even as it was so busy a huge group celebrating a birthday plus other diners. For dessert a lovely selection, the cheesecake was amazing! We would definitely visit again.
