We parked the car just on the road as it was a Sunday , rain coats and hats ready we entered the park for a lovely walk , have visited this park many times now , such a lovely place to be. Lots of things to see and always a great atmosphere even in the rain. Stunning views for all the family to see and great little places to stop for a drink too . Toilets are 20p and you need to use a card to enter, very clean and looked after well . A great place to visit whatever the weather.
Great park for different activities. A Perfect place to spend with the family. Beautiful flowers and gardens when it is nice and sunny and you could always visit the Maritime museum, if it is cold and raining.
Amazing views across London from the top of the park. The old trees are beautiful and the stories of the observatory fascinating. Its a place where you see the wealth plundered from nations put into action to facilitate shipping with the precision tools to enable ongoing dominance at sea. Fascinating early scientific exploration.
A lovely park in London one of many to visit. The park is well maintained with lots of very old beautiful trees. Good paths all around the park, some parts of the park have quite steep hills, that said its worth the walk to the tops for the views over the city.
This park is great! Very big and the views from the top are amazing. You can admire the view and stay still sunset and see all of the landmarks. Very beautiful views! The park also has sand for kids and swings, slides etc… Big for picnic and where play area is no dogs allowed. No cycling in this park too. Overall the views, space and kids play area, this park is one of the best I’ve been to in London and will be visiting again very soon. A lot of parking available and it’s free after 6:30pm.
One of the most beautiful park in UK, beautiful flower beds and very nice playground for kids. It has got toilet and small cafe too. The location is perfect and whole London can be seen from here. You can easily spend 5-6 hrs here.
Nice large green field for picnic or just a relaxing afternoon with friends and family. If you don’t mind a short hike uphill, go up to the observatory center where you can have a decent view of London as well.
Wander up the hill to the observatory and drink in the fantastic panoramic view. Stretches from the Shard, Canary Wharf, Olympic Park to Millennium Dome. Many paths throughout the park, so you don't get muddy in the winter. Lots of lawn shaded by trees for picnics in the summer. Great for runners, cyclists and dog walkers. Just about the perfect city park!
Been there again a few weeks ago and it just confirms every time that this is one of my favourite places in London! Beautiful park and view from the top. Beautiful architecture of the Greenwich University. Bathrooms available in the Greenwich maritime museum free entry
So many attractions inside the park, the rose garden, the flower garden, the cherry blossom in spring time, the observatory, the prime meridian, the view from the top of the hill, the pond and many more. Large kids playground as well with sandpit, and water play area. Have been there many times and always recommend.
