I’ve been at Energie Fitness Highbury for about 1 year and a half now personally training with Jade, the manager. I have had the most amazing gym journey ever. Jade is the best PT I’ve had and I’ve had quite a few. She’s helped me reach so many of my goals and more, she stays challenging me each session, no session is ever easy which I love. All the staff are very friendly, easy to approach and are always willing to help or assist where they can. There’s a lot of friendly regulars, and the environment is generally welcoming and open to everyone.
A great gym, very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere! Emilia was so amazing that my husband and I joined the gym instantly, even we just went for a visit! The price is great for everything they offer for the members. We have been visiting other gyms in the borough but we chose Energie! Thanks Emilia!
Great gym, really well equipped, and with friendly & helpful staff. Joined in February and I've been doing PT sessions with David since. He is great at training, very knowledgeable and keeps me motivated during each session. His training has helped me lose weight and at the same time grow physically and mentally. I can't thank him enough for his guidance and I would definitely recommend David Hernandez Valencia for PT.
Really enjoyed my time at this gym. Found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. It is well equipped and the timers on the walls are a huge benefit. Overall a great value for money !
Great gym with all you need. Good range of classes from weights to yoga. Trainers incredibly friendly, Daniel has made us feel so welcome since joining!
To be fair I've really enjoyed the Highbury gym. I like the vibe there, older gym users like myself and the young local lads. Locker room and showers are fine, bring a padlock. I was regularly doing the Tues boxing class with either Mehdi, Daniel or David who were all great. More classes would be great, especially lunchtime classes. Great value gym! Sadly I wont be near any energie gyms for the time being. If this changes again I'll be re-joining for sure!
It gets really busy between 5.30-7pm Monday is the busiest. Otherwise its a good gym, they maintain the equipment, fairly clean. It's just really small and instead of making it bigger they keep cramming more and more people in.
Hygiene at Energie Holloway Rd = 0/5. Dust rolling around the floor, aircon not working and windows completely condensed, the humidity and smell in this gym is awful! Did the free trial but won’t be back, you get what you pay for.
On my first day at Energie gym, I unintentionally locked my belongings, including the keys to the locker, in a changing room locker. I started panicking and asked for help since I needed to go home to get the spare keys. Mehdi kindly assisted me and offered his hoodie since it was freezing outside. He is always willing to assist with whatever is needed. Thank you for your excellent service!
The community feeling as well as the encouragement you get from the staff and regulars is amazing. Dan has been very helpful with advice for things I struggle with, would recommend for anyone new to the gym
