Great gym with great people. Love the various classes and PT sessions recommending Tony!. Gym is clean, has tons of equipment, + a sauna and a steam room.
Not worth the money. Classes are at odd times, plus the only two Yoga classes fill up straight away. The system of you signing up for a class and attendance in class doesn't work. Hot showers were out of use for three months and they have constant towels supply issues. Finally cancelling my membership after 1 1/2 years and it cost more than I pay for a month to attend. There are many other gyms in Angel, I highly recommend you seek elsewhere.
Good range of equipment, however it's dark and dingy in the gym area. Very dusty with torn equipment. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a week or so. There was a strange sewage smell in the main gym area. I had to leave.
A really big fitness first gym with different sections which is nice. It’s a well kitted out gym but some of the equipment is a bit dated. The changing rooms are very nice but you need a padlock for the lockers.
Wonderful experience at the gym. The staff was extremely proffeisional and carried themselves well. Especially a young gentlemen whose name I forgot....showed me how to use a variety of equipment within the gym as well as helping me start conversation with a variety of different people within the gym floor. The gym is extremely well kept, myself and wife have praised the staff telling them that the cleaners have left the place shining every time we attend the gym. As well as the staff being ontop of the towels as well as making sure no problems arise within the gym itself.
Highly recommend this gym! Very clean and has the best equipment you need to get in a good pump. Very good staff as well that will help with all your fitness goals special shout-out to Saaid, Enzo, Ike, Daniel and Matt.
Friendly staff and great equipment. I find the music quite unpleasant but appreciate that's subjective. Staff have been great at turning it down at least in the changing rooms so the sound doesn't go straight through to the sauna/steam room as it did the first time I visited. When the staff put their own music on it seems to be much better! Otherwise, just make sure to have decent headphones on hand. Definitely recommend Daniel for personal/ boxing training!
Just started going to this gym and I have to say it's the best I've been to. All the Staff are great and really friendly. Loads of equipment so no need to wait around, but members are friendly enough and let you jump in and share. Highly recommend the shred class with Jamie always finds a way to make it tough but fun at the same time. The gym is always kept tidy. I always see the fitness team cleaning equipment which is great to see.
Great gym with lots of equipment, very clean plus nice members of staff. I particularly enjoy the SMASH classes twice a week, in addition to various circuit and grit classes. Ashley and Sam are a great inspiration, always planning amazing and structured classes. I don't have the feeling of boredom I usually have with classes and I have been every week for about 10 months now!. I work hard at every classes as always different and include full body workout. Very grateful of these sessions as I don't think I would be doing as much on my own!
I think this gym is great and the team there are the ones that really make the difference. Demi in particular is amazing and one of nicest people I have met. Having visited some of the other Fitness Firsts in London, I do feel that the gym floor could do with a bit of updating to bring it in line with some of the others but other than that, I cannot fault this place. Great atmosphere, Amazing team, brilliant classes and even the regular members are welcoming and friendly. Recommended
