I bought my dream car from ford evans halshaw in edinburgh, at first everything was ok, but as soon as i bought the car the problems started, the car was in a shockin state, even the battery was dead and i took it back after 1 week then when i got there they said they wouldnt change it! And they watched as i had to push my car around the forecourt to try and start it! Then when it went back to get the warranty covered work done (which cost an extra £1000!) they wouldnt do the work even if the warranty said in black and white! They had it for 3 months and left me with no car and didnt do half the work, i then shelled out nearly £2000 to get it working, and only 1 month later the timing chain failed, new engine! They told me it had been replaced before it bought it, but my mechanic said that wasnt possible! They done nothing to help me and they are a shambles! I was left with a heep of a car and £5000 bank loan to pay off! They have been ignoring my calls and emails for over a year now. I am taking them to court so hopefully get something back!! Please please read this before going there.

Fraud is the word that defines this car dealer. When I bought my car I had a chip on the windscreen, I asked the seller if that was fixed and he said yes and he will send me the invoice of the arrangement and a year later I still do not have it, two weeks ago the windscreen broke because of the chip and the cold weather, I have contacted customer service more than 5 times and the only thing they do is go to the seller and he tells you That he will call you back and it never happens. I do not recommend this car dealer to anyone, they are not professionals and it is a joke everything they do, I hope the problem is solved soon or I will have to resort to citizens advisors.

Absolutely atrocious dealer, had problems with the car I bought from them, no reply from emails and when I call them they say they will get back to me but never do! I live in Aberdeen so I can’t just go in and see them and they know this and I think they are just completely ignoring me bacause they Know I can’t just go in. When I purchased the car they promised there would be £20 of fuel in it but there was only £5! So I had to rush to a petrol station. When I picked up the car the tyre pressure lights was on for all 4 tyres even though it had just went through a MOT, they out the wrong mileage on the MOT 10k less than what it was sitting at! STAY WELL CLEAR!!!!

Terrible customer service,  rude attitude and dishonest about many things, avoid this place at all costs - very unproffesional. Wouldn't be surprised if the good reviews listed here are from their own staff! I recommend People’s Ford across the city.
