To me this was the perfect vinyl shop. Full of character and interesting crate digging finds!

What a find. Recommended by a friend who moved from the area years ago. People bandy about the term 'Old school' but this is the real deal. Genuine enthusiast John fixed my old turntable,  put new belt and cartridge  sold me 4 albums and advised/warned me about the so called hi fi out there today. All for less than cost of my local specialist "that's  for having a look at it-parts and labour extra mate" 
Thinking of going back to vinyl? You NEED to visit John if in the Exeter area (i'm 40 miles away but I'll be back next week!). 
Thanks John good to see some old school values still exist.

Was in Exeter today and took a 40 minute return walk to Emporium to find it closed with a sign on the door saying that doesn't open at regular times so you may want to ring before making a trip. Looking through the windows at the racks of lps added to the disappointment. Hope to try again next time I'm in the area.
