I visited the Apple Store in Exeter today, on a pre-booked appointment, to have my phone repaired. I was told that my phone would repaired by 16:30. It was not returned to me until 18:15 and after 17:20 they stopped telling me that the phone would be just another 5 minutes! During the whole process I was not offered a refreshments, I had to sit on a hard stool. I therefore feel that the service was appalling and feel really let down. I had expected that if I came to a main Apple centre I would be provided with suitable customer care.

Poor customer care. Problem with phone, we travelled 1.5 hours to get there for help. Having first tried to telephone in advance but just got automated service. Staff very dismissive and no flexibility . Had to wait whilst genius staff appeared to be doing nothing but chatting together to be told to come back Tuesday. Err we work all week actually. This store used to be really helpful but it’s gone downhill in each of our recent visits. This will be our last, got the train back to Barnstaple and went to a local repairer who fixed phone whilst we waited. Sad as that’s what Apple should be doing under the phone warranty but I’d rather pay elsewhere than go back to this store to be treated like this again. Really disappointed at the lack of thought and contingency for customers who don’t live ‘round the corner’.

I don’t remember her name, but the female employee with the short blonde hair was SO helpful and very accommodating!! I tend to have my reservations about Apple, but thanks to her my experience could not have been better.

Unable to buy from this store. Even though I know exactly what I want and to be told it’s in stock I can’t have it until I wait in some sort of queue for someone to become available to serve me? After 20 mins I gave up. Will not bother again.

I am an infrequent visitor but whenever I do drop in, I get great help from the salespeople and their teckkie support behind-the-scenes whenever my wife's gadgetry plays up. Also in the heart of Princesshay!
