Finally an estate agent you can trust! Olav goes out of his way to advise and guide - he has helped me enormously in finding flats twice over the past few years, both times listening to my needs and coming up trumps with the perfect homes. I cannot recommend him and Edwards Estates highly enough, he is a truly kind gentleman with integrity and I have always found him to be honest and trustworthy. His knowledge of Southwark is amazing too! You will not be disappointed in using his services, he's my go-to estate agent, I just wish he could be cloned all over London! :
I bought my property via Olav. He was very helpful, answering all my many! questions and liaising between me and the seller through what ended up being a long process through no fault of Olav's. I never felt hassled, otherwise I would probably have walked away, and I trusted that Olav wanted to ensure a sale that both parties were happy with - and we were. I love the place. Since then Olav has acted as my letting agent when I am not living there. On every occasion he has helped me think through the right price for the current market and helped me with what sort of furnishings or upgrading needs to be done to ensure my tenants have a good experience, but also one that is durable for me. He has deep expertise of the area and market and I've always found his advice to be sound. At the start I looked at several options for letting agencies - I think at Olav's suggestion! - and had very little trust in any of the others so stuck with Olav. All of my tenants have had good experiences, only leaving e.g. because they're leaving London or because I'm moving back in. I have always found Olav at the end of the phone and willing to talk through any issues with me to ensure they are resolved.
As far as agents go, Olav is the best. Usually you pay the deposit, move and you’re left to it, and if something needs attention you’re waiting forever for them to get back to you! Olav couldn’t be further from this, he is 100% responsive and if he doesn’t know the answer, which isn’t often! he will find out, he will go out of his way to help. I felt very looked after, and that I trusted his word. I will definitely use him always and have recommended him to everyone.
Very rude and unprofessional estate agents. Called many times to arrange a viewing, and scheduled one for today. I arrived at the property on time and Olav didn’t show up for the viewing. I left after waiting for 10 minutes. After that, Olav reacted with a laugh at the viewing confirmation text. Sarcastic and disrespectful behaviour. Response to the owner: I can find the exact email that the viewing was confirmed on Tuesday, 20 Oct 2020, 12:39.
I've had the pleasure of working with Mr. Coleman at Edwards Estate Agents for over 10 years. His market knowledge, professionalism and rigorous work ethic are second to none. I very much look forward to continuing the relationship now and in the future.
AVOID at all cost! The whole experience from start to end was a total nightmare and I would urge you not to use Edwards' services for any house rental matters. I am attaching a page of the tenancy agreement I had as proof of this review.
I have used Olav to let my flat for many years now and he has always provided an excellent service - efficient and responsive, and often well beyond a simple letting arrangement
Awful service from Olav throughout, made living at the property a nightmare. Just in case he wants to claim that I was also not a customer of the estate agents, I have attached a photo of my tenancy agreement
Olav has been great in helping me find the place I wanted. Lovely chap and great listings. Full of information about the local area too.
I cannot give enough praise to the Team at Edwards Estate Agents - helpful, knowledgeable and approachable!
