Worst experience with an estate agent. Sent enquiry from Zoopla, their agent called me to asks few questions. When I said that I am renting it for me and my teenage son he told me that it will not be possible and the Council will not allows to make a living room into a second bedroom. I asked what council has to do with this as this is not council house!! This was discrimination against me as I am a single mother. he did not asked if I work full time, receive benefits, nothing! This is not acceptable , avoid at any costs and before renting from them check their reviews, especially the lowest one.
I had a great rental experience with Leonard Leese! The agent Sam was extremely helpful. He was available for any further questions we had after the viewing and made the process very easy! Even helping arrange the security deposit when we had limited Wi-Fi. Thanks Sam!

Sam at Leonard Leese was extremely prompt with his response time and I was impressed how quickly he was able to show me the property as well within hours. He also seemed very knowledgeable about the property and market. I have been looking for a while and he is definitely one of the more personable agents I have dealt with - hopefully I end up getting a property though Leonard Leese and Sam.
Had our first dealing with Leonard Leese when buying our first house in Stockwell over 5 years ago. We dealt with Toby Bailey who we enjoyed the process with so much that we decided to use them again to sell our property 5 years later. Really trusted them during the process and enjoyed spending time with them, will gladly use this company again whether it be for purchasing, selling or renting. Would highly recommend.
Challenging Experience with Leonard Leese, Borough Office I am writing to share my experience with Leonard Leese, Borough Office, which was unfortunately less than satisfactory. My aim is to provide an honest account of my tenancy to aid future tenants in making an informed decision. Delayed Response to Urgent Repairs: Within a month of moving in, we faced a serious water leakage issue. Despite promptly reporting this, the agency's response was slow, taking over a week to resolve the matter, which was not only inconvenient but also worrying due to the potential damage caused by the water leak. Mold Concerns Poorly Handled: A significant concern was the presence of mold on wooden windows, a matter that took the agency over two months to address. Considering the health implications of mold, this delay was particularly disturbing and indicative of a lack of urgency in dealing with health and safety issues. Intrusive and Disruptive Practices: The agency’s practices were often intrusive, especially the early morning calls from an agent, Dominic, and the frequent property viewings arranged at short notice. This was particularly disruptive and felt disrespectful, given that we were only a few months into our tenancy. Deposit Dispute and Financial Transparency Issues: At the end of our tenancy, there was an unwarranted attempt to deduct £300 from our deposit for damages that were not our responsibility. After a protracted dispute, where we had to provide evidence from the initial inventory check, the deduction was reduced to £45. This experience raised concerns about the agency's transparency and ethics in financial dealings. In summary, my time with Leonard Leese, Borough Office, was marred by delayed maintenance responses, intrusive practices, and questionable handling of the deposit. I advise potential tenants to consider these issues seriously when deciding to rent a property managed by this agency.
Kieran made the whole renting process extremely smooth and was always on hand to answer any questions or issues we had. He did an amazing job of communicating with the landlord for us and streamlining the entire process. Would highly recommend!
Sam at Leonard Leeses is a very persistent and insistent communicator. There were multiple points in the process where I wanted to give up, but he strongly encouraged me not to and led me to getting my dream apartment! All the staff was friendly, helpful, communicative, and timely. Highly recommend!

Over the last year or so I have received excellent service. Any issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently, and I was made aware of all options when they arose. New contract is going through at the moment and I am confident that it will be a stress free process based upon my personal experience with them.
