To begin, this isn’t a paid ad or promotion. Rented this for a day to travel around. Everything was superb. Staff were phenomenal and helpful. Unlike other car rental companies, this company was transparent about their prices. Essentially, we had the least hassle renting this and did not have to worry about additional cost or whatsoever. Perfect, great experience. Highly recommended
Office far away from airport. Took over an hour for the shuttle bus to show up and 30min waiting to be served. Hired through easyJet. Never again! Also… car door bins full of rubbish, tank not full and tyre pressure warning light on dashboard. They also want between £1500-2500 deposit which they can take up to 28days after hiring to refund!
Pick up from the airport took 40 minutes for which they were very apologetic. From then on the service was perfect. Download the app and check in en route. Pick up was swift. Drop off was swift. The car was great and the guys that pick up and drop off from the airport are friendly as are the check in. I will use again. The office opens early 0630 i think and closes 00.30. Well done. Great service.
I hired a Fiat 500 for 2 days last weekend from Easirent - I was cautious as about 3 years ago I hired a car from the same location and waited weeks for my security deposit to be refunded. This time round I was happy with the fast collection from the airport - please note its a longer distance now as you have to travel up to Styal in order to come back on yourself - not a major issue but allow time. The check in process was fast and I was away in 10 minutes - I had purchased my own damage waiver insurance - if you have done this its a £1500 deposit on your credit card. I returned the car early - no issues my choice - it was checked in and all was fine - miles were under the allowance by 90 !! I was told the deposit would be released at the end of that day - I checked 4 days after the hire and it was still being held so I phoned and was told it could take as long as 10 working days - I am not sure why as usually this only takes a few days maximum. The deposit has now been refunded - 5 days after returning the car. In summary - good value car hire - if you can accept the long delay in deposit refund and mileage limits you get newish cars but check carefully before you take the car and photograph any problems as you might get charged on the vehicles return even though its not of your making.
Waited nearly 90 minutes to get a car, one person serving. The place is filthy dirty bins not emptied coffee stains on carpets Door frames missing. Must be seen to believed. The car was a lovely new Nissan that is the reason for the two stars.
I would 100% recommend renting a car here. As I did not read the terms and conditions properly which was only my fault the check in was a little more complicated.. But James the employee was so helpful and did his best to help me. Thank to him my holiday started well. So thank you very much again for everything. Super fast check out and shuttle bus which took us from and to the airport. I will definitely use your services again :
My experience was good, picked up from the terminal and an easy process for getting the car. Plus drop-off and back to terminal all went smooth. Customer team were very friendly, and happy to interact with the kids. Overall, top marks, can't find fault with how things went. Good customer experience had. Well done to the team. Thank you.
Great service, a bit out of the way but so are all of the other rental car places and the shuttle from the airport doesn't take long. Darren sorted me out at pickup and I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the guy who sorted out the drop off but both were great. I got given a Fiat 500, the economy was amazing, only had to fill up twice and we drove up and down the country a few times. Make sure you're going fast enough downhill so you can get up the next hill though, not the most powerful of cars! 5/5 happy to recommend Easirent Manchester.
From calling for pickup at airport, to actually getting the car was well over an hour. We were given a car with no petrol; estimate on car computer was 4 miles left in tank. And the tyre pressure sensor in car was going off constantly. Very unimpressed. The only thing stopping this being a 1 star review was that the staff were polite and friendly
Worst car rental experience ever. 2 hours shouting to an intercom in an underground car park in Edinburgh to complete my reservation I made online and to open up a keybox. Finding this intercom was a matter of sheer luck. The car had damage at all sites. Dropping off the car a finding the right place will be an challenge too, I’m afraid.
