I have hired many cars and vans from Ashton branch and I have always had exceptional service from them.

In general no complaints staff just had a strange attitude maybe because it was 5.30 when I arrived.

Van had dents and scratches around it. The interior was not cleaned, and not to standard expected. Hired the van on card payment for 2 days, only used it for 3 hours, and no refund or cashback offered. Completed online application, yet still waited 3/4 hr from when I arrived to leaving in the van. Was not informed about the £200 deposit on line, so was disappointed at that. Also the £1500 excess was not informed, and had to pay extra £20 per day to reduce the excess, which I thought was very inconsiderate. All in all it cost me £100 cost  and £200 deposit to use an un-cleaned van for 3 hour.....And I thought it was all paid for on line for £59.....Not recommended.

Good prices, friendly, but busy on a Saturday morning (to be expected..). 

As with any car rental company, always take photos of every panel, wheel, tyre and windscreen as you can't eliminate your excess and  "yeah, that'll be fine" at collection has a habit of turning into "we've found this damage sir..." When you take it back. In this case it was a learned tyre... showed photo and no issue.
