Just had a lovely relaxing week stay in a chalet. The accommodation was clean and the facilities were more than adequate for a self catering ho. The location is very idyllic and very remote. Luckily myself and my husband love to walk abd explore the local area by foot. Minehead is along the coast path 3miles - nice and flat but alittle uneven underfoot with plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Blue anchor is 2 miles in the other direction and also an easy walk along the costal path, a lovely meal at 'The Smugglers Inn' and 'The DriftWood cafe' was delightful. Dunster village is just 1 mile along the road, a slight hill at the end but not too challanging. We ventured to all these destinations by foot for dinner and found Dunster lacking in eatting options in the evening and best to visit during the day. We will definitely back for another stay soon
Great parking facilities for walking the Somerset coast path.
Lovely quiet spot for a peaceful holiday.
Didn't go in, but had a walk along the road, very windy and chilly,
A lovely beach ideal for dogs... Toilets and a super little outside cafe selling hot drinks, snacks and ice cream.
Fabulously quirky community of beach chalets, fully equipped for self catering, perfectly situated on the beautiful West Somerset coast near Dunster & Minehead. Lovely peaceful location right on the beach with huge private lakes & woodland walk with an abundance of wildlife. Perfect place for a quiet chill holiday or a base for touring around the beautiful areas of West Somerset & Exmoor.
Such aovely quiet place to stay, everything you need! So close to the beach, castle as well as Porlock and Minehead if you want to venture further, just what the doctor ordered.
Many happy memories of being a child at this place. It's quite, perfect for the kids that want to ride their bikes or play the old fashioned way
Only visited the beach for a walk and to have a cup of tea at the Kingfisher hut. As always the service is friendly at the Kingfisher. Dunster beach is my go to place for a fresh walk for a few hours.
Didn't stay here parked on beach car park, walked on beach lovely place, bought a cup of tea. Please note card only no cash payments and card machines are temperamental. Most place's prefer cash as card machines play up in the area, but not facilties at Dunster beach.
