Stayed here whilst visiting family in Porlock. Cannot fault the place at all. High standard of cleanliness, nothing too much trouble for the staff, ample parking and close to all amenities. Definitely will be staying here again when we next visit family in Porlock.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely Premier Inn right next door to a lovely Brewers Fayre and 3 supermarkets. Had the best night sleep ever outstanding comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Only thing to let it down was the cleanliness could have been vacuumed better, etc but for the price paid we were more than happy. Well worth a stay if visiting the area.
Friendly staff, spotless clean room, comfy beds. Only negative comment, windows don't open but there is air con, you can hear the airplanes landing late evening. Rooms: Great room, usual Premier inn standard. Had a family room for 2 so lots of space! Nearby activities: Close enough to the seafront to walk. Food & drinks: Brewers fayre attached, usual good standard of food, great breakie!
We stay here every year to visit family. The room is always setup nicely for 2 adults and 2 kids. The bathroom was lovely and clean, nice shower. Immaculate room. Extra tea and coffee at reception. The man on the desk was really helpful. Icing on the cake was some hot chocolates and special biscuits from the staff.Rooms: 5/5
Firstly, me and my husband are regular Premier Inn customers so we’re used to high standards. But I’m sorry corner cutting is starting to make your hotels look really shabby. Is it reasonable to have two teabags in your room after a long journey? Is it acceptable to have to request a room clean, for toiletries to feel watered down or to have towels with holes in? I’m aware that we can get extra teabags from reception and ask for our room to be cleaned. I just don’t think it’s acceptable. Also car parking should be included in daily room cost instead of a stealthy extra.
Its a lovely hotel. Shops near by and a pub serving tasty food. In good location to spend the night before going to butlins. Was great not to have travel stress with trains and buses on the Monday. Booked for the night before our next holiday in May. Very affordable with breakfast £66 2A,1C . The room had a double and a single bed. Using the key card to get into the building and in to the lift is great security and stops the kids trying to mess around in the lift. Would of rated 5 stars if the window was a opening one because It got quite warm quickly and didn't want to keep the air con on all the time because of the cost of the electric for hotels these days. Rooms: Comfy and spacious. Safety: Key card entry after certain time and always on the lift. Walkability: Walkable to shops, butlins, beach and town.
The room was massive loads of space, plenty of tea and coffee, and more at reception if required. Bed - memory foam mattress that really could do with turning was having to roll up hill to give Mrs S a cuddle. Room and hotel very clean although could smell cigarettes in the bathroom area. Staff were friendly and polite. About a 15-minute walk to the beach front and Butlins. Be aware of the paid parking, didn't spot it when we booked but TBF not overly expensive £5 night
Unfortunately we didn't have a good night sleep as couldn't open the windows and the air conditioning in the room was broken which we didn't discover until the middle of the night. Shame as we have visited this branch many times. The staff are very friendly on a positive note.Rooms: 4/5
Staff were friendly but didn’t get a good nights sleep so received a refund as part of their good night guarantee. Refund took a while to come back to me though! Car park instructions were clear and good value for 1 night.Rooms: 3/5
We had a lovely quiet weekend. A young lady in brewer fayne named Charlotte was so lovely and looked after really well.5 out of 5 for service in there. The food was good too.Thnk you Charlotte.xxx Rooms: Clean and roomy. Food & drinks: Very good.
