We had the most wonderful stay in stables cottage. The owners were so welcoming. I loved the little touches in the cottage like the 'I'm on holiday' dog tag, treats for the pouch, the gorgeous teas and so much more. We especially liked the gardens and the pool. The pool has just been refurbished and looks stunning. Thank you so much and we hope we can come back soon.
This is our favourite place to stay near Minehead. The accommodation is to a high standard and the owners Leonora and David are brilliant. Access to most of the Manor grounds and paddock is delightful, a fully refurbished swimming pool is also available. Totally recommended for a relaxing peaceful stay if you want to explore the area and dogs are welcome too!
The cottage was stunning - immaculately clean with extremely comfy beds and pillows - and lovely personal touches. Dog biscuits and poo bags, milk in the fridge a lovely selection of teas and coffee, and washing up stuff. The setting is just beautiful - a huge garden/grounds with lots of lovely private places to sit and enjoy the incredible scenery - pool looked awesome it was too cold to swim! Lovely long walks for my dog too. The hosts are so friendly and helpful - I could not recommend more - the best self service cottages we have ever stayed in! We will most definitely be back and sending our family and friends too.
Excellent accommodation and dog friendly. Eco friendly cleaning products and treats for your dogs including their own towels. Would book again in the future.Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful location, really lovely hosts - all the touches thought about - pool towels, kitchen items etc. Stunning pool - has been completely refurbished compared to previous pictures.
I always judge a place that says it's Dog friendly on how friendly? I felt my Puggies were very well catered for and they could be left to roam the massive gardens to their hearts content under my supervision of course. The Coach house was just the right size for 2 people and 2 dog's, towels were provided for the wet dog's and there were no rules, most dog friendly accommodation say they are but not really this place was,just treat with respect for the owners and next guests . In a very good location and great parking and a friendly and helpful host. Can't wait to return
A perfect location within walking distance of beaches, moor land, woods and both Minehead and Dunster - you could almost dispense with the car for the whole week. Grooms Cottage is comfortable and cosy and having the entrance through the kitchen is perfect for staying with a dog. The garden is a delight and Leonora & David are wonderful hosts. We will definitely be returning!
We had a fabulous time in our favorite part of Somerset! The cottage was spacious, clean and came fully equipped for a family holiday. A real home from home! The gardens and lovely heated pool were a real plus, the children spent many hours enjoying the pool.
Absolutely immaculate! Lots of complementary 'stuff including a jar of dog treats. The best holiday I've had for years. Amazing walks and villages near by to explore. I will be booking my next stay!Rooms: 5/5
A very welcome break as lockdown eased. Beautiful, peaceful setting with excellent walking nearby but also amenities close in town. Cottage very comfortable, clean and kitchen well-stocked. Although we didn’t use the pool too late getting back in evenings, it looked very clean and inviting. We would like to return for a longer stay next time.
