The shop itself is nice but the cafe is on a different level. Waited 20 minutes in the line because one girl was taking orders and making the drinks while another girl just stood there doing nothing. Then when it was finally our turn to be served we were served with attitude. Then waited another 15 minutes just to receive our food cold.
An excellent store with excellent location and parking . It was about 5:30 pm on Thursday afternoon but no one could be found on the floor or in the Cafeteria to answer our query or to order a cup of coffee!nnHowever, there is a vast selection of household goods on sale and there was a cashier visible - the only person we could see!
I always get what I need here and today's trip was all about pillows... I bought the temperature cooling pillows which were the right firmness for me, I will update my comment in a week or so once I've tested them out
Let me make this clear , I am not giving Dunelm a 1 star review as the shop itself offers a great choice and reasonable prices.My 1 star review is for the cafe inside Dunelm , where today I witnessed a blonde girl working behind the counter pick her teeth with her fingers then wipe her hand on her top , then serve up food , no doubt prepared in the kitchen without wearing gloves.I proceeded to change my order to prepacked sandwiches and a canned drink.The lady serving at the cash register who d cut her finger and was wearing a blue plaster , was lovely to be fair , but some staff here should nt be working with food , or at the very least undergo some more training on basic health and hygiene .
Went there to buy a round rug for our hall its a shame that they stack them folded in half, which leaves them with a thick Ridge thro the middle, very hard to remove .
