Electricity. The lifeblood of the Currys shop floor.nnBe it fridge, freezer or fridge-freezer, you can find it up the stairs.nFlatter, more screen-based good are on the found floor. These can be costly and take a lot of thought before purchase, so don't be rushed and enjoy the eerie calm of the Currys warehouse-styled interior.nnThe staff are eager to help and very supportive of your purchase. We went in, saw a white good we liked and purchased it with minimum fuss.nYou want insurance? You'll have a hard time leaving without it.nYou want accessories? Just try and avoid them.nnIt's like shopping on the internet but much better, because you can ask questions and poke the items prior to making a decision.
I popped in to Curry's, Pemberton Park retail site, yesterday Friday 26th Sept at about 13.00hrs, intending to buy a new washing machine and tumble drier. 4 staff members standing chatting inside the front door quickly broke up and dissipated into the store. None spoke to me. I walked over to the stairs and waited for the lift which took me upstairs, I looked around and saw all 4 together again at the front of the store leaning about , chatting. The store was very quiet at this time. I was the only customer upstairs. I spent some 15 to 20 mins looking at appliances and looked for assistance. None came. I walked to the barrier overlooking the ground floor and called out 'help' ! A store/manager assistant in a hi vis jacket called up to me, there's only one staff member upstairs there. Ok, I continued walking up and down the aisles for at least another 10 minutes and saw a member of staff who was always an aisle length ahead of me. I went to the the upstairs admin station and stayed there a few minutes but no one came to help me. I gave up eventually, and walking past the fella in the hi vis vest i left the store. He didn't say a word to me, or I to him.nI left a virtually empty , except for staff members store, none of whom offered me any help, and left somewhat relieved.nIf that's how it is to be at Curry's Llanelli, I'll shop elsewhere, and so should you.
Andy was excellent when I bought a laptop and separate screen etc.nExplained everything really well and sourced me really good products at excellent prices.
I went in to purchase a new phone today on the buy now pay later scheme, I had multiple questions and queries about it, a lovely staff member named Steven approached me asking if i needed assistance with anything and proceeded to walk me through the steps, his customer service was excellent and he ensured that i was 100% educated on the process, he made my experience and transaction in the store today very easy going! Much appreciated thank you Steven!
