Use duddeston for trains to Birmingham New Street, Four Oaks, Walsall and Redditch. Sparse on facilities and the booking office open at select times usually in the morning. There is a lift from the platforms to street level otherwise use the stairs. Station located on Duddeston Mill Road
A very unpleasant, decrepit and overgrown station that has clearly seen better days. Ticket office is only open for two hours a day Monday to Friday mornings, only a single ticket machine which doesn't accept cash and a permit to travel machine. At least the station has a lift and shelter, both with the expected stench of urine. Don't use this station unless you really have to.
You are lucky if the lift is working, because Galton Bridge's don't work 45% of the time. The entire Nechells area is terrible and loads of crime. There are no security in this station and the station is not staffed and the CCTV doesn't work. AND This station is a huge hub, with trains to practically anywhere. This station is actually SO DIRTY and I wouldn't be surprised if someone got killed here.
Worst Train Station in Birmingham!! Duddeston Station is the dangerous train station ever!! I go pass this station when I'm on the Walsall train, no staff on duty even when it gets dark it's proper dangerous. like dodgey people they can beat up a person and get away with it. or robbery something like that..
A small train station in nechells, Birmingham on a busy road. The trains come every half an hour and go towards Birmingham New Street and towards sutton coldfield and four oaks. It normaly takes around 5 minutes on the train. The number 14 bus run outside the station; the number 14 bus goes towards Birmingham city centre. There is normally has staff in the ticket office. The station has no toilet facilities.
Some people are so hard to please lol No, this station is rly great! A little run down, sure. But for me, it's full of character & with plenty of services to!
Station run down messy horible no staff on duty most of time. Miserable experience lift disgusting smelly and very open cold experience great for smokers of all kinds. I would avoid at all cost.
Used to be a great station I used to work in the newsagents on duddeston mill rd we had a lot of customers that used the station it needs cleaning staffing and money spent on it
A Place Of Memory For Sure, Shared Many Here & Haven't Even Worked A Month At My New Workplace Yet, Good Station For A Stop In Alum Rock/Nechells ARea, Tains Come At A Decent Rate Not In Comparison To Other Major Stations, But Glad There's A Station Inbwteen Alot Of Areas Which Makes It Really Convenient, The Job Gets Done! - @just_be_yousuf -
Literally no security, anybody can beat someone up and run away without getting caught, CCTV's don't do the job all the time
