My husband bought an alesis crimson II from Phil. It was the first electric drums he'd ever had - having used standard drums for 40 years. The service and advice from Phil was excellent. His knowledge of the kits he sells is vast. My husband had a few minor issues setting up the kit and Phil resolved them through a video chat and even a visit to the house- which we both think is exceptional service and we can't thank him enough for his support and help. We would highly recommend this store!

I took my son's drum kit in to get some opinion on preparing it for sale, Phil was very helpful, recommended some upgrades, tuned the drums and gave me some great advice on selling the kit. Highly recommend it for all your musical needs!
Good shop and staff have plenty of knowledge of products sold. However I have now been outside the shop for almost an hour as the front door is locked but the shutters are up making the appearance of the shop being open. I now don't know if the shop is closed for the day or if the person/people working there are away for a lunch break. I'm now sat in my car across from the shop at the risk of getting a parking ticket because I've been here longer than the 30minutes I've paid for. Also did advise the staff member who called me 2 days ago that i would probably be coming to collect my item on Friday afternoon, a call to advise me of the shop being closed for a period would be courteous.

Really friendly, helpful staff. Small shop, but filled to the roof with products. Was only in for something cheap, and wasn’t upsold or pressured into buying something fancy. Their website listed the product a little cheaper, and I was able to buy for the online price after asking, with no trouble. Seems like a great place!

Old style music shop the best kind very friendly and happy to assist. Also happy to recommend other local shops if they don't have what your looking for.
Been in all the drum shops around and there's nothing can compare with little shop of joy.if they can't get you a part they will make one for you,excellent staff
