Band Supplies arranged the repair of my son's Euphonium, which had been accidentally stood on when stored at school. The resulting repair was excellent, looking fantastic with no hint of damage, and sounding marvellous again. The repair cost was very reasonable too. Very happy.
bought a cornet and the valves have stuck since new contacted band supplies about this and said it needed different oil they sent the oil and it has still continued to stick and still does it is not one valve but all of them. it is a shame this matter was not resolved as i am now looking to buy an additional cornet for my self and would of bought another one of these had the valves not been as bad as they are

I have unfortunately had a very poor experience when dealing with Band supplies, after having several recommendations from them by bandmates. When I put my instrument in for repairs, I was verbally quoted a price and was told that it'd be back within a month. After a month or so, I rang to ask for an update about my instrument. The person I spoke to took my details, said they'd call me back, but never did so. After a couple of weeks of waiting, I decided to ring again. It still wasn't there, but they said they'd look into and I finally got an update, saying it was still at the repair shop, two weeks after it was meant to be returned. I did get a voicemail back from them saying it'd be in next week, which it was, but with an extra £50 added on top of the original quoted price. I was unhappy with the service that I had received from the lack of updates, and responded to the message I received saying it was ready to collect, citing the amount of time taken for the repair, lack of communication, and the price increase. From that I received a voicemail asking me to call when I had the chance. I spoke to the manager who didn't apologise for the delay, and told me that the repairman was on holiday during this time and didn't let me know beforehand, or the lack of communication regarding the price increase of the repair. In this situation, I would expect a message or call apologising for the delay when it was known, the reason behind it, and an expected timeframe for completion, with a similar message if the price was different than originally quoted. The staff didn’t fill me with confidence and came across in a defensive way when I questioned the lack of communication, questioning if I understood instrument repairs, despite this not being my first experience in instrument repair! I wouldn’t recommend this shop, proceed with caution.
