As a drenched family of 4 (including twin toddlers) we had a really lovely dinner and experience. I was very grateful of a full gluten free fish and chip lunch (including gluten free bread) and also that the waitress was very accommodating with our twins sharing a meal, so as not to waste. Really welcoming place, great gluten free, lovely experience. Thank you xxxx

They have really good portion sizes. They also have some really good deals. As well as that if you bring in a your own chocolate bar they will deep fry it for a pound! They have a good variety of fish and other meal options. They have two entrances, one for the restaurant and one for takeaways or it reduced the queues a bit too.

Excellent place to eat in York. Close to everything so when you're hungry you don't have to walk far. Everything was delicious. I recommend the Yorkshire Platter - a generous selection of food.

Fabulous! Everything is cooked and served to perfection, with attentive and friendly staff. Very good value for money. If you also like puddings, the bread and butter pudding is reminiscent of my mother's own signature version! (sorry mum!!)

Really friendly staff very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Great food freshly cooked. Nice portion sizes.
