Really lovely welcome, amazing food. We went for breakfast. It gets busy so book through their website before hand. The full English was great. Wanted the Duck Egg but they had just sold their last one. Would love to visit again

Oh my gosh the food is so yummy here with hearty portions! Would definitely recommend the scallops and the pork stuffed with apricots! The beer is served in big glass tankards and the white wine is very tasty. The staff are lovely and helpful. Would recommend booking as it is a little place but has a great atmosphere.

Fantastic food and atmosphere and very friendly staff. It's a perfect place for a quick catch up with a friend or a formal dinner with your boss. I would definitely recommend it to anybody interested in having a great meal!

The first time i went to the Barbakan for dinner, today i had breakfast there and it was delicious! The best omelette I've ever had!! Strongly recommend the cakes, they are all delicious (tried great part of those the first time I went). The staff is also very nice and the place itself is so cosy that it makes you feel at home!!

The food is delicious and the coffee very good. The decor makes you feel you're in a foreign country, which I like. I'd give it five stars if the men serving here were more friendly and welcoming and if it wasn't so expensive.
