Thank you for a wonderful evening.  The food was delicious every member of our party of 7 loved the food. We did get spoilt with the menu so much choice x   You made our son's 21st Birthday memorable with your thoughtful candle in his dessert and wonderful singing! We will definitely return when we visit York again.   So glad we booked well in advance would have hated to miss out on this gem . We have added a couple of photos although some members of our party couldn't wait to tuck in

Me and my partner are regulars here, we absolutely love our Italians and have been to countless restaurants up and down the country, however this is the only restaurant we can agree on that deserves a 10/10 time & time again, amazing staff and service, the food is outstanding and also accompanied by great drinks selection, the restaurant itself is warm and intimate, always has a beautiful atmosphere!  To anyone who stays in the York area or anyone who has just not been before we cannot recommend Delrio's enough - not only in our opinion the best Italian in the city but quite possibly one of the best restaurants in the area.  Rating out of 10  R - 10 A* A - 10 A*

Me and my partner had an amazing meal here last night. We were recommended delrios by some people as we weren't from York and we was not disappointed. Food was cooked to perfection and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting here again next time we come.

It was very nice place, the atmosphere was very different and the overall inside to the restaurant was fascinating! The service was quite good, and the food was nice. I had the seafood pasta  dish and I wouldn’t say it was fresh. The seafood itself was very over cooked and tasted quite off. The bruschetta and the tiramisu were very nice on the other hand! Would definitely visit again and try other dishes.

This cozy restaurant is a hidden underground gem. Warm attentive hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide choice of wines, cocktails and beers. Excellent mojitos. The meals we chose were cooked beautifully, thank you everyone at Delrio’s for an unforgettable dining experience.

Delrios was absolutely amazing! Service over all was exceptional. Was made to feel very comfortable. The menu was explained very well and so was the specials. Cocktail tasted great and the steak cooked to perfection! We decided to come here from a recommendation and it was a great one for sure. If you’re visiting York, give it a go!

I'm Italian so I can recognise authentic Italian food and let me tell you, this is by far the most authentic place I've been to and I've travelled a lot around the UK. I can't recommend this place enough, I'm definitely coming back again as soon as I  can. Buonissimo

We reserved to have dinner here on Friday, as it gets busy so we would advise to do so.  This restaurant seems to be family owned judging by the way the staff got on, so made it quite homely. The restaurant has also the sense of being cosy and a chilled out, despite there being a lot of decorations along the walls and ceiling.  There was a range of Italian foods and drinks on offer, at a reasonable price. The food portions were very generous, all looked comforting and tasty great.  The staff were all friendly, helpful and were up for a chat so was great. We even got chatting to the head staff and about the procedures they had to put on place and how stressful it was.  We had the following: Starters - Garlic bread with tomato and Scallops with Bacon Mains - Mushroom Risotto and Beef Medallion in peppercorn sauce Dessert - Tiramisu and Panna Cotta

Lovely, authentic, friendly restaurant. Really enjoyed it. My pictures don't do the food justice. It was delicious.

Dined at this restaurant for 3 nights on our holiday. It is the perfect example of an authentic Italian restaurant. The food is of the highest standard and the staff, waiters, chefs and managers have been polite, respectful and have taken into consideration my partners allergies every time we have dined here. The personal touches have made our experience a pleasant one and we can’t wait to return next time. Could not recommend this restaurant enough for anyone looking for a perfect Italian experience. This restaurant is a fine addition to York’s wide variety of restaurants and dare I say. The best around.
