We had to request this for the following day. Also we were at breakfast for 9.45....still 45mins left yet the hashbrowns were old n not changed and the scrambled eggs also were not changed. Good value for the price! The staff are friendly and the breakfast does the job. The bathrooms are a bit dated but clen. We stayed for one night and it was more that adequate.

This is by far the worst company, and management, I have ever dealt with in any industry! My wife and I were booked to have our wedding at this venue in their marquee in 2016, we were booked since 2014. Within that 2 year period, the company had been sold and bought twice by 2 separate companies, the initial wedding manager we booked with had "jumped before she was pushed", all without a single phone call or email to notify myself or my (at the time) future wife of anything. To make things worse, the 2nd time this venue was bought, by Surya Hotels, the same owners of the Dukes Head Hotel in town centre, the venue name had changed without any notice and all our invitations were already sent to our guests! But that's not all... 5 months before our wedding, the new owners decided to cancel all weddings so they could rip down the marquee to make more space, adding more buildings and rooms. With only 5 months before our wedding, we had to find x amount of money to have our wedding at a different venue for the same day as our guests had already booked time off, our honeymoon was already booked, and nowhere else was able to book us at such short notice except only one luckily, who were MORE than happy to help, unlike these unhelpful plebs... Plus, why should we have to cancel or move our wedding date because of some inconsiderate piece of you know whats. The manager, director (obnoxious, rude arrogant, vile man) Ray Dowsett, is who we were told to speak to about getting compensation from the owners and who we were told by another manager, Darren Purnell, would do "anything and everything to help" but he had no interest in helping in the slightest. Darren Purnell did try to offer us the Dukes Head on a different day, but that was not acceptable because why should we have to change our date to suit them. My wife and I were recommended to take them to court, we started proceedings and in the end decided against it before anything really kicked off as we thought it wasn't worth the hassle. Now coming up to 2 years on, we still don't have our £500 deposit back because they have "used it on legal fees", Ray Dowsett would still ignore my phone calls and emails, even if I had got through on a phone call, he'd probably just hang up on me like he has done several times, or asking me who I think I'm talking to, as if I'm beneath him, like he's better than me... Let me tell you, that waste of oxygen isn't better than anyone. I look back now and I'm GLAD our wedding didn't take place here, this company could rot to the ground along with all management for all I care. This might be a cheap hotel and have "comfy pillows" but I don't regret a single bad thing said about this place, and with that, I will never step foot in the Dragonfly Hotel again, and probably not the Dukes Head either knowing the same scum own that company too.

Since this place got revamped it is not as friendly and the ludicrous way you have to charge your room for drinks later in the evening is nuts
