Great location, brilliant staff, fantastic food. Note to management, you need more staff. The guys here were run ragged over the weekend which did impact on service if not on enjoyment. The staff are helpful friendly and despite being run off their feet always went out of their way to help and always had a smile. The place is very pleasant and in a lovely quiet location and the decor is great. The only criticism I have apart from the lack of staff, is the there is no sound insulation in the room, so we heard every little noise from the room above and the bed was not the most comfortable I have slept in. Otherwise a great stay and would recommend a stay here.

If you stay in the cottage it's very noisy. The floorboards are loud and there isn't much noise protection. The rooms are spacious though. The cabins are less spacious but better for noise. The WiFi is decent in the cottage and bar but poor in the cabin where I think it may be out of range. There is a bar and a restaurant.

Great food, reasonably priced and a super venue with polite and friendly staff. Sunday roast carvery is one of the best in the region, highly recommended
