A beautiful Country House hidden away in the Norfolk countryside. It has 5 beautiful room and a lovely rustic and serene charm. The garden and views around The Red Lodge are breathtaking. It's the perfect place for a quiet getaway. You are about 5 minutes from the closest town and 20 minutes from Norfolk's beautiful beaches with National Trust Houses such Oxborough House and Holkham Hall right on your doorstep. The staff are fantastic and will try to accommodate every request you may have. The food is always fresh and cooked to order with their breakfast being outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like a great weekend in a quiet and relaxing setting. 10/10

We booked with RedLodge as an escape from having a village show on our doorstep at home! We were looking for dog friendly and quiet. The staff were fantastic. The owners very friendly and pointed out several great walks. The owner does have dogs and there are chickens loose. There are outdoor seating facilities with country views. The signage at the top of the road was a great help too! The room we stayed in we were tlld dates to 1600s but was light, airy and pleasent. Dog loved wooden floors. There is food on site and that too was fantastic. Thanks very much for having us! Kelly, Chris & Floki.
Quite exquisite country house with exceptional service and wonderful food. You know you are in for a cracking stay as soon as you arrive, parking your car under the enormous chestnut tree and spying the beautiful house for the first time. Peter welcomed us into his house and from that moment he and his staff made sure we had everything we needed making the whole family feel special. Peter cooks an amazing breakfast to order, my top tip is to try his freshly baked bread and beans for breakfast, I don't think I've ever seen number 2 son eat so much! Remarkably good place.
We had an outside meal here on the 16/4/21, first guests after lockdown. The meal was superb, the service brilliant, and the outside decor by Juliet , beautiful. Reccomneded!Service: 5/5
This is the perfect location to connect with nature with a spectacular host. Red lodge is full of character and has impeccable taste. This place is such a pleasure of a find, that I've booked to spend my birthday here with Family. I would highly recommend The Red Lodge.
Just left Red Lodge Country House and thoroughly recommend staying here! Our host was absolutely lovely and the building itself and our room was beautiful. We'll definitely be staying again.
I booked accommodation for 3 nights from 3-6 April. Due to illness I cancelled within the free cancellation period. I then discovered that the full amount had been debited from my account on the day of booking and not returned once cancelled.After many phone calls and several weeks later I eventually received a sum less than the full amount owed. I am still awaiting the remaining £4.50.
