Don't stay here if you're a boring person! The old school is beautiful and full of eclectic nic nacs. We stayed in the "separate accommodation" expecting a couple of nice apartments, but were pleasantly surprised as it was revealed we were staying in a whole cute cottage with wood burning fire and plenty of period features. Our hosts were very welcoming and the cooked breakfast was great. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed in the pavilion. Set in a beautiful garden and secluded position. The facilities were great, including a huge and extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious - the black pudding was the tastiest we have ever tried! The hospitality was second to none, nothing was too much trouble, would highly recommend booking a stay here.

Our family of five adults stayed for three nights in 'the Cottage', one of the apartments which is right on the village green. It was delightful. We really enjoyed the breakfast cooked to order by our host, Andrew, and served in a conservatory looking out onto a lovely garden. It has a hint of quirkiness which just adds to its character. We enjoyed a beautiful walk along the River Nar, a couple of miles away.

Staff could not have made more effort to make my mother's 80th birthday lunch a happy and memorable experience. Thank you Andrew.
