I've been registered for 3 months and haven't gotten to a doctor or nurse yet. because I can't make an appointment!!! because no one picks up the phone and hangs up immediately. when I went to them personally to ask for an appointment, I also did not get it because the receptionist said that only the visit can be made by phone!
The receptionists here are the rudest I’ve ever come across. Are they even trained in dealing with the public?! The girl I had to speak to this morning was virtually mono syllabic! Every word she spoke was an effort. No smile, no acknowledgement I was even there let alone help to make an appointment or see anyone. I subsequently dealt with the office manager Sati who is lovely and cannot do enough to help. But please, please sort out your receptionists!
The worst GP practice around the area. You never get appointment the receptionist are very very rude. All of the time their doctors are unavailable. I want to change my surgery but most of them have same bad reviews. This surgery was awful before Covid and now the most awful thing you have never get appointment or checked by doctor either end up in A&E or deal with your pain and stuff. One star because there is no less option.
This GP surgery is terrible. It is the worse. I don't even want to give it one star. The receptionists always look miserable is it bad management or work environment or both. You can't get an appointment even when you call at 10secs to 8am. I called today and pressed one the pine is engaged and keeps cutting off. I called 11 times since 8am and now it's 8.13. They don't like you booking appointments in advance. My advice to you if you move to the area and have a good go in another area, even if they are two hours away from you, don't change to this GP. Dr Akpabio is a very rude doctor aswell. Always make your complaints to the correct department. I've had to complain about this GP before. Also if you have requested a referral and they refuse ask them to record their refusal on your file and just know if the request has anything to do with finance for a procedure it is the CCG for the GP that approves financial requests for procedures and not the GP as I found out after he refused a procedure for me.
The worst GP practice! You have to wait 45 minutes or 1 hour to get hold of a receptionist and then they tell you there is no appointment. The receptionist are very rude, except one receptionist named Shanaz. Whenever she answers the phone my issues get solved quickly. She goes out of her way to help you every time.
Disgraceful practice and just seems to get worse. Numerous e consults sent as they say that's the only way to get in touch, yet no one contacts you. Go and que up early morning and get turned away saying they are not gonna open till 10. On phone for 2 hours or more and it cuts off. No duty of care is provided for any patients. Place needs to be managed by someone who actually cares. Finally since when does the admin provid medical advice when they are nor professionally trained?
It was bad when I joint 6 years ago. But it’s improved a lot and they are always very helpful. And my needs are always met. Very good surgery best I’ve had in a long time.
Been 2 weeks and cant make an appointment for my elderly father. Avoiding to care and lying seems to be their slogan. Saying to call back at 8 only to never get in contact with anyone. Claim to have an e-consolt system which they don't. So why mention this. Then to go down in person and see the receptionists purposely not pick up calls. Absolutely disgusted. These people should never work in health care ever.
I received a text message to book an appt following a blood test. I have called 3 days in a row at 7:55am. After being on hold for over 45 minutes I have been told there are no more appt available and to try again on Monday. Your service is obviously not working and hasn’t for a long time. What are you doing to make improvements?
Dont even deserve 1 star!!. Dont answer their phone and admin staff useless. Please dont waste your time registering to this GP, wont be able to receive any appointments.
