Clinicians are good, doing their best in the circumstances. Recently, each time I have contacted them or had an appointment, it is with a locum doctor, its a bit disheartening not having your own gp who knows you. Receptionists are awful, always rude, cannot admit when they are wrong, and think they know better than you. as a patient of this GP for more than 10 years, knowing the usual protocol goes out of the window because new receptionists are consistently hostile and lacking in decorum. change asap, this place has the potential to be good, if receptionists remember that they are JUST RECEPTIONISTS.
Rating 1 because 0 isn't possible. Called for something that 111 suggested to call the GP urgently for, but when I called the GP for an emergency appointment I was refused an appointment with them by the receptionist and was told the next appointment was in a week. How outrageous, I went to ED after a few days after the GP receptionists told me it wasn't serious and that I only need an appointment in a week. Was told off by ED triage that I should have been seen sooner.The receptionists are absolutely rude and disrespectful. What terrible practice. This is unsafe for patients.
Honestly i think the Drs abd nurses here are actually really professional and knowledgeable But the receptionists, wow, pointless. They will aleays try and override the Dr. Been planning to change surgery for ages. Never got around to it. But after the last fiasco of booking appointments and giving me the wrong details. Waste of time. Seem to forget people actually work for a living and can't always move things around coz the receptionist has messed up! Expecting you to come in and collect documents when they can easily text them to you like they did during Covid. We are supposed to be moving forward to digital not backwards. It's like the patient is a nuisance to their day. So so so disappointed
Doctors and Nurse are nice here but extremely rude reception staff i waited In reception for my turn to book my next injection appointment when my turn came he said come back on Monday to appointment I was like waited my turn now why you not booking my appointment he said there queue for appointments I said I waited my for turn he still didn’t book me. Extremely rude staff even on the phone aswell. They should sort out this problem
My experience this past week with this GP surgery has been shocking, one of the worst experience I have ever experienced from an NHS practitioner in over 20 years. The reception staff and the most unprofessional, rude, uneducated, uncompassionate I've come across. I was placed on hold for 27mins and then 35mins because I asked to speak to the practice manager, only then to be hung up on. The service level has dropped over the past 3/4 months. This is something I'll definitely be feeding back to their commissioners and CQC
Venkat on the main reception has always been extremely helpful and friendly. I requested him to chase the doctor to rebook my ultrasound for my foot and 1 week later I got an appointment. Harpreet is another very helpful person. I spoke with them and they were ever so helpful and cooperative. I would like to add that Dr Ali and Dr Monica Sharma have been the best doctors I have ever come across. They always take their time, listen and go extra to assist.
Receptionist in this surgery are very bad they just make excuses to fight with patients so they can put the phone down on you and says we have 0 tolerance policy today I ring for my wife she had high temperature 39.7 chesty cough pain in throat and dizziness when receptionist ask me what happened I told her this is the problem then her next question was have she take anything I said yes then she says so is she not well then I told her she is not well that’s why I am ringing you are you the doctor then she says no so I said then please make an appointment and I will talk to doctor your are just receptionist I told you the problem you should write the down and give us appointment you not there to argument then she said I will put the phone down if you talk like that so now you tell me what’s wrong I have done she was just making excuses. Every one here behind the counter they think they are the king.
I had an appointment with Dr.Singh for my 2.5 years old today, he was very helpful and answered to all my concerns about my kid. He is the first dr. that has really helped me to at least start the process and get my daughter’s condition diagnosed. I have been to paediatrician's but they were not much of help. I would like to thank you again and a 10/10 for you Dr.Singh. If you have to get your kids checked I would recommend you to get them checked with him. Regards: Mah Noor
I DO NOT WANT MEDICAL ADVICE FROM RECEPTIONISTS PLEASE OR REVIEWS OF MY SCANS FROM RECEPTIONISTS. And receptionists stop being so bloody passive aggressive or acting surprised we should know something when there hasn't been any communication...and if someone says, they're in a lot of pain. You could say, "we're sorry to hear that. Let's see how we can help you today". Its like BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I work in customer service too and i just christ, these guys are either cold-hearted or dumb. jesus this surgey is always a battle. I hate ringing. I always feel belittled or like i'm causing an inconvenience. It's your receptionists, the female ones, they let the whole thing down, that Asian guy is polite though. RE-TRAIN the others. listen back to the recordings.
I ordered a prescription days ago and am still yeet to have it ready. I am already dealing with withdrawal symptoms and have been dealing with some of the worst symptoms of my condition. I've asked them to put me on repeat prescription on multiple occasions since patient access will not allow me to do so, yet they do not take action. If anything goes wrong with my emotional and mental state during this period I blame this surgery. Not only are they still using covid as an excuse to avoid face to face appointments, but they can't even do the bare minimum of take email prescription orders in time and not put people on repeat prescription when asked. I literally cannot come in to the practice to get them to physically do it since my working hours are their opening hours and I'm not going to miss work and not get paid because they can't do the bare minimum. No wonder their reviews are only 2 starts since the doctors are insensitive and do not take mental health seriously and they can't do their job properly to provide the prescriptions.
