I got a room in february 2018, and paid for a permit to the lady who was in charge in the hotel . I got a fine anyway even though I paid for the parking and left the car exactly where the same lady to who I paid told me to! I just wanted to warn the clients of Diamond Villa that the parking at the hotel is not reliable.

OMG this place is awful. Arrived on the 15th April and left 15th April. How this place as got 3 stars in will never understand. As soon as we walked in he wanted £9.00 for parking. Then he took us to the room. The wallpaper was damp and hanging off the walls. Curtains were mouldy carpet absolutely disgusting and the valances and mattress protector were filthy. When I pointed all this out all he said was it's because it's old. Just cos it's old does not mean it has to be dirty. And to top it all he wouldn't give me my money back. Not even my £9.00 for parking.

Close to the city centre. Clean and comfy. No cooked breakfast but a very good variety of cereals, toast, crumpets, pastrys, fruit and yogurt. Staff friendly. Very good value for money.

A clean room but certain things were not made clear within the booking details. Firstly, breakfast is included, however I, like many other guests it seems, expected a full English breakfast within the price. I was disappointed with the continental breakfast, given that the price of the stay for two nights is steep compared to other B&Bs which offer full English AND a continental breakfast with their stay, at a much lower price. I was also shocked to see that breakfast was a "help yourself" arrangement and there was no fresh coffee available. Furthermore, breakfast time is restricted to 15 minutes ONLY (8:30-8:45am). My friends and I came down to the breakfast room today and we were there on time but there were no seats left for us so we had to wait until some guests had finished eating, which then gave us less time to collect and eat our breakfast. I was also shocked to hear one of the owners say "there are two minutes left" after we had collected our breakfast! Very unprofessional. Finally, very surprised by the rules of the house, that there is strictly no alcohol allowed on the premises. It also states on the booking that free WiFi is available to the guests - this is not obvious or accessible within the house. Although the guest house is within close reach of the town centre, unfortunately, I do not think my friends and I will be staying here again.

I wouldn’t even give it one star if I’m been honest. We rang up to cancel our room but the man who was very rude on the phone said we were unable to do that with no explanation why, even though it said free cancellation up until 24 hours before. We arrived at the property and it was very outdated. Got show to our rooms and then they wanted the money as quick as possible! The rooms were freezing cold, bathroom was hidden in a cupboard in the room. The net curtains were all ripped. There may aswell not have been any curtains as when we came in at 3:15 it wasn’t long before the light was beaming in!! Said there was free WiFi but wasn’t told about this. The lady on arrival said no key after 4pm and you can’t get back in. Breakfast is served at 830’only and was either cereal or toast! Honestly not worth the money you pay could get a travelodge for cheaper. When we left we were accused or spilling drink on the floor and leaving other marks around the room. We didn’t and asked for photo evidence but none was sent! Which to me makes them out to be lying!! ( we weren’t told that we couldn’t drink and we’re not shown the guest book to look at to find out) The attitude of them all was disgusting. Never ever would I recommend this
