One of the greatest pubs to have ever been created!nnGreat pints, great service, vibe is always perfect and in the summer the outside seating is a great spot for people watching!nnThe staff know their stuff - always happy to recommend a pint. They also sell loads of gins, vodka, wine, soft drinks and a cracking selection of crisps and pork pies.nnDog friendly with water and treats always available.nnGenuinely, if you like a pint, look no further :
We had a great time when we visited Left Luggage Room. Some good beers as well. Recommend a visit just to have a look and a cheeky pint!
Visited yesterday with my Boyfriend and Brother after visiting Tynemouth Market highly recommended we were doing a little tour of the real ale pubs along the metro line which I recommend as it was very unique and definitely adds interest to a day out. Plus as all have roofs good for a rainy day.nLoved the decor, the exposed brick and the fairy lights which added to a rustic charm to the place. Love that this history and original features have been maintained. The ceiling/roof is fascinating and such interesting architecture. The range of real ale and other drinks are varied and interesting. I would recommend anything by Flying Gang. This is where I discovered I like Irish Whisky such a delight. The place was very busy when we visited but we didn't wait long to be served.nThe whole place has changed vastly for the better since I visited a few years ago and would recommend to anyone to try this place again.nThe staff were so friendly, chatty, knowledgeable and helpful. Even though it was busy everyone got such individual attention and service all the staff are to be commended especially Eloise who was particularly fabulous and throughly enjoyed our chat all credit to this lady. The prices were very reasonable indeed. There was a list of pork pies which my Boyfriend who is a chef and Brother throughly enjoyed them and said they were some of the best they ever had.nThe only downside was there was nothing veggie apart from the usual crisps and nuts if there were this place would be 5 star perfect. The place is dog friendly so bonus cute dogs. There's outside seating but they do stop serving outside after a certain time. A good place to meet friends or stop off for a drink whilst you wait for a metro as it's only a few steps away from the platform. The toilets are clean and well maintained. Would be happy to go in alone. Highly recommended.
Went in earlier tried to pay by card a couple of times wouldn't go through. Decided to pay cash for a change, Opened my wallet and noticed I'd only got twenty pound notes which I hate paying with for the following reason. Passed one over got change for a tenner. Questioned the guy, he opened till and said no twenty pound notes in here. Wasn't vigilant enough when he opened till first time. Hope you enjoy a couple of free drinks on me. Please check your change in here. Good idea to carry fivers which I normally do.
Called in Tuesday afternoon. Received a nice friendly welcome. Enjoyed a very well kept pint of Hazy IPA Snake Eyes I think. My companion had an equally well kept pint of cider.nA quality establishment serving quality drinks at reasonable prices.nRecommended.
