I highly recommend this place and their Sunday Roast recommend making a reservation for the roast! The pub has a traditional British feel, both inside and out, with limited seating on both floors. We started with a couple of pints and the Ibérico Ham Croquettes, served with aioli £8 $10.50 USD. I can best described them as three ground ham and cheese tater tots. They were delicious and made for a great start. We both went with the Aged Striploin Beef Roast. I loved that you could choose how it’s cooked medium-well for me & medium-rare for my partner. Each roast comes with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding, and red wine jus. Everything was so food £19.5 $25.59 USD. We also added a side of Cauliflower Cheese £5 $6.56 USD, which was the perfect complement to the roast. To finish, we shared the churros 4 count, served with cinnamon and chocolate sauce. A perfect sweet ending to the meal £6.5 $8.53 USD.
Really nice pub near London Bridge. Beer selection 10/10 the signature brew hazy maybe fav beer ever. Roast was pretty good. Liked the veg, roasties could’ve been a bit crispier like in any pub, good size. Service mixed but overall a really nice pub! Not hectic either but book aheadFood: 4/5
Delicious fish and chips. The charcuterie board was very well put together and tasty. The craft IPA excellent. Service was great.Food: 5/5
Sunday roast was great overall. Better than average London pubs I've been to by quite a large margin, especially at £19.5 Beef was decent, both in terms of taste and portion size. However, I'd expect the thing to actually be pink after being asked TWICE if I want it medium rare which I said yes. Didn't bother sending it back though because these were still on the edible end of the spectrum, and still had sort of pinkish hints here and there... Yorkshire is nice, so are the potatoes. Carrots are the highlight among them. Wise man once said there's no such thing as too much butter, and this place nailed it. Will come back to try the casks which unfortunately weren't available.
Had fish and chips for lunch and it was amazing. Batter was light and crispy and the homemade tartare was really nice as well. Awesome selection of beers on tap. Will definitely come back again next time we are in London.Food: 5/5
Been here off and on for many years. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere close to tower bridge. They have a great selection of craft beers that changes regularly. Nice porters and IPA's from around the local area. For food they have a lovely Sunday roast. Weekday menu is tapas and a few main meals options. Really enjoyed the chicken burger.
Pint of cask Cozy pulled real ale. All food was excellent. Chicken liver plate... recommend. Iberico ham croquettes. Jerk chicken skewers. Get them all. Service nice and also patient. Not rushed.
Everything was just amazing. The food was plentiful and really tasty, great service, drinks, beer and overall great. The pub was busy, but food only took 15 mins for 6 people! Best thing - it is a dog friendly place. Took our dog Suki in and she loved it. Well behaved dogs are always welcome. Another amazing thing - the flexibility. My sister Caitlin is on the spectrum and they let us sit in a quieter place.
A great pub with a great selection of beers. The food style here is tapas with some of the typical favourites. Service was quick and it all tasted really great. Fantastic beer food. The dishes that really stood out were the chorizo, pardon peppers and the calamari. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is out for a few beers and a bite to eat.
Edit: Came here again for the Sunday roast and it amazingly was one of the best we have had in a long time. For the love of a fantastic roast, do not skip this place! Great little pub at the corner of the road serving some very tasty food! We tried the hummus and it was perfectly done. The staff was very helpful and we got in with absolutely no waiting time.
