A good olde boozer tucked away on the south side of the river, not far from Tower Bridge. Very much a local gathering point for company and to put the World to rights. Lovely people and dogs. A fine place to pop for a beer, or two.
A Terrific Friday Afternoon - Evening- Night session that has kept the tradition of "Great British Pub" so rarely found in London these days. Friendly Competent Staff, Well kept Ales and Comfortable surroundings and not extortionate prices. This place is a Gem.
The Ship Aground is a little magic corner of old London. Mick, Patt and John are beyond welcoming, all the old school pub comforts, brilliant sports coverage, fabulous garden and super friendly people. Favourite pub in London!
Excellent charming pub with very friendly staff and customers. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a piece of "real" London.
Only three beers on when I visited. But otherwise a nice atmosphere with sport on the TVs.
Very much a regulars pub, but well priced and great for sports coverage if that is your thing. They only had one ale on Pride but it was nicely kept.
Nice to watch the football in. Was handed a plate of roast potatoes at the table.
Lovely local pub, a little off the beaten track but friendly landlady and well kept beer. Worth a visit.
Really nice local pub. Friendly staff, good prices.
Nice old fashion pub. Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Will be back for sure.
