Horniman At Hays
"Busy, spacious split level pub situated within Hays Galleria next to the River Thames, close to London Bridge. Pub takes its name from the tea dealer Frederick Horniman whose warehouse used to be located on the same site. Serving a wide array of spirits and beer on tap, there is also the opportunity to sample some of our famous real ale selection while dining on a selection of amazing food from our kitchen.Private hire avilable in our Wharfside bar for those special occasions, or just pop in with friends and grab a drink to sit on our terrace and take in the breathtaking river views. We look forward to welcoming you soon."

An interesting place. The atmosphere is pleasant. The view from the terrace is spectacular! The service could be better. The food is not bad, just "soulless". You have to pay for everything in advance. If you want another beer you have to pay again.... The service is inexperienced and uninterested.
Another Hidden Gem in London! I recently visited The Horniman at Hays in London and was thoroughly impressed! This charming pub is tucked away in a quiet corner of the city, but don't let its location fool you - it's a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and authentic experience. The moment you step inside, you'll be struck by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The decor is eclectic and quirky, with vintage artifacts and curious trinkets adorning the walls. The dim lighting and comfortable seating areas make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The menu is a delight, with a range of traditional pub fare and more adventurous options to suit all tastes. I opted for the fish and chips, which was cooked to perfection and served with a side of crispy batter bits a nice touch!. The beer selection is impressive, with a range of local ales to choose from. The staff are friendly and attentive, with a clear passion for the pub and its history. The Horniman at Hays is a hidden gem in the heart of London. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and authentic experience. Don't miss out!
It was one of the worst dishes I have eaten. Fish and chips are one of our favourite and simple dishes. Unfortunately, the fish and chips were fried in very used oil and not replaced. The fish is overdone. I thought of comforting myself by eating the chips, but unfortunately, it was no better at all. It was not crispy, and the opposite was soft and greasy. You can also see the dark colour This indicates the quality of the dish. Also, the colour of the fish indicates that the oil is not new and has not been changed and has been used a lot.
We visited here on a Wednesday Afternoon and were able to get a seat outside with the lovely view of HMS Belfast. There is a QR code on the table which you use to order food and drink to the table, After ordering it all comes very quickly. We ordered the Macaroni & Cheese with bread, the Fish Finger Sandwich and the Pulled Beef Brisket Sandwich. All the food was delicious, in particular the Beef Sandwich, the chips as well were perfectly cooked. Was a lovely meal with a lovely view of the Thames! Will visit again.
Met a friend for a couple pints during a recent weekday. Prices expected, service just fine, environs really good, especially for enjoying time along the Thames. Really nicely located pub on the Thames.Service: 3/5
The roast dinners do not look like the photo. The meat was extremely overcooked, tough, chewy and dry and the portion is extremely small compared to the photo. The food came out luke warm to cold. The yorkshire puddings were also not made themselves and did not look like the homemade style ones in the photo - instead a cheap quality frozen substitute was used. We also ordered the loaded nachos which were made incorrectly to what was ordered so half were left. Very disappointing considering it's over £20 for a roast. Used to visit regularly but won't come back after this meal.
The Horniman at Hays is an impressive riverside pub from the Nicholson's collection. It's on the south bank right next to HMS Belfast. Plenty of beer on offer both from the cask and the keg. Good friendly service in a most striking setting, high ceilings, plenty of dark wood and an imposing mezzanine. A great place to pause and watch the world go by.
There is only serving service, but you should order and pay at counter. Although this arrangement, it’s nice place to get lunch or dinner for reasonable price with pub atmosphere. Kids are welcome too.Food: 4/5
Very nice pub close to the riverside. Great seating area outside, but you really have to be lucky to get a seat there. Inside is also really nice though. Great view down to the Tower BridgeFood: 5/5
A very nice bar, right on the banks of the Thames. Unfortunately, extremely crowded. We drank a quick beer, standing, and continued our way.Service: 3/5
