I came here with my tour group during my stay and the service was fast and efficient....
It's a great pub to go to after work for drinks. The ground floor near the bar is buzzing with young adults chatting and laughing, and there is a lot of noise, so one can't hear and talk if you are a large group or with family. The upper floor is quiet, with middle-aged people sitting and enjoying their drinks.Service: 5/5
The food AND service was SO good. We got the burgers and they were juicy and very well seasoned, and it was the best coleslaw I’ve ever had! We got served immediately and got checked up on during and after eating. which I find rare in the UK I highly recommend coming here for a bite!Food: 5/5
Today we’ve been to The Woolpack, I tried several dishes, but unfortunately, none stood out or justified the price tag. I ordered the fried squid, which turned out to be quite oily. It was served with mayonnaise, a pairing that didn't enhance the dish. Some lemon or maybe even more chili sauce could have brought much-needed brightness to the flavors. We also tried the bruschetta with mozzarella. It was just okay—nothing memorable or exciting. Additionally, we had some prawns, which, like the rest of the meal, were pretty average. For the price we paid, I expected more. In conclusion, everything was underwhelming and didn't leave a lasting impression. I don't see myself returning to Woolpack, at least not for the food.
I great friendly pub with amazing food. Came on a Saturday lunch time had some great food. Great choice of beers and the really great friendly staff. Will definitely be coming again.Food: 5/5
I always really enjoyed the food from Woolpack. My go-to menus are fish and chips and burgers. Also we try their Sunday roast too! Combination was a really generous portion for two it's more than enough for two men!. The beer garden is lovely, especially for summer, and upstairs is quieter so you can enjoy a relaxing evening with food and beer. The team is the best, I've been coming here for more than 3 years now and I've never been disappointed with the service. Even when they're super busy, they always try to give their best service.
Big outside beer garden in the back. A few tables out front for people watching. Service was pretty fast. Mid to high price for pints.Service: 3/5
Great Pub with a Cozy Vibe! I had a fantastic time at the Woolpack. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is friendly, and the food and drinks are top-notch. The schnitzel was a highlight. Whether you’re looking for a casual drink or a great meal, this pub delivers. Highly recommend!
This pub is a top choice for soccer fans, offering a lively atmosphere perfect for catching the game. Heaps of large screens and enthusiastic crowd make every match exciting. Plus, their cider on tap is deliciously refreshing. Great drinks, great vibes—an ideal spot for any sports enthusiast!Food: 5/5
The woolpack in Bermondsey is a lovely classic pub in Bermondsey, with gorgeous tiled walls and exterior and a classic pub menu with some really delicious choices. Alex was a friendly and well mannered lad. The food was good and everyone enjoyed. a wicked place I would definitely come back toFood: 4/5
Stepped into this pub after a huge rain fall. It was a nice discovery. Very warming ambiance, cosy, and friendly. Really enjoyed the warm Mac & Cheese with beer! Their fish and ship looked good too.
