This hotel is very nice to look at. The inside and out are designed really well. It has a good bar which looks really elegant and is reasonably priced.nThe food was good and the dining area is pleasant.nThe Air conditioning in the room was useless on a weekend when it was 26-30 degrees. The TV has Netflix and Amazon on, however they don’t work and the staff told us that it’s not possible to watch these apps on the TVs due to the hotels wifi. So they’re also pointless.nnThe rooms themselves were really clean and modern. Very spacious and the bed was comfortable.
Oh my we loved staying at the Orchard. It's beautiful everywhere. Food whilst limited on this occasion was cooked to an unexpectedly high standard. It was incredible the tiramisu was quite a surprise, the fish and chips was really unusually prepared. Room was lovely. We had 2 shih tzu with us who become very excited by new and nice surroundings they loved it. Also the location in the ample grounds of the nottingham university it was crawling with bunnies and squirrels my girls loved it. This place is a must for people that love beautiful refined surroundings and wonderful food and impeccable customer service. We look forward to coming back.
From the moment I arrived at the Orchard Hotel, it was clear I was in for an enjoyable stay. The hotel delivers on all the essentials you’d expect from a quality establishment. What really stands out is the warm and professional attitude of the staff. Every interaction, whether at reception, in the restaurant or passing in the corridors, was genuinely pleasant. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. It’s the sort of place where you feel that a smile comes standard, not just as part of the uniform.nnThe room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, with a bed that managed to strike that rare balance between supportive and so comfortable it makes getting up for breakfast a genuine test of willpower. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was immaculate. I still couldn’t find any biscuits with the tea and coffee tray, which I choose to view as encouragement to visit the bar instead.nnSpeaking of the bar, it is well-stocked and offers a good range of drinks, but you may want to brace yourself before ordering a round. The prices are ambitious enough to make you check your wallet twice. Still, a well-poured pint in good company is hard to beat, and the bar staff are as friendly as they come.nnIf I had to find fault, it would be the shower. The water pressure isn’t going to blast you into next week, but it does the job well enough. Think of it as a gentle wake-up rather than a power wash. In all fairness, it was perfectly functional, just perhaps more of a polite drizzle than a monsoon.nnAll in all, the Orchard Hotel is a great choice for anyone visiting Nottinghamshire, whether for business or pleasure. I left with a smile and would happily return.
We had a great stay at the Orchard. The facilities are great and the hotel and rooms are tidy and in very good condition. We enjoyed the food as well. It is a bit of a distance from the city centre, if that's where you are heading.
I really enjoyed my overnight stay here and would definitely come back. The room was clean and comfortable with nice toiletries, a comfortable bed and everything that one might need. The restaurant was lovely and service was outstanding. The hotel's entrance and lounge/bar area is also really beautiful and comfortable and they have a delicious small plates/bar food menu in addition to the restaurant option.
