Can not praise the people and their place enough, nothing was no problem for them at all, even took us to the dinner and dance we were going to because of the weather and also picked us up after, has to be the best place we have stayed food also great room was very clean, I could go on but I just need to say we have booked for next year already. Five star would double it if I could.

We have just come back from a wonderful 2 night stay at the Station House B&B. Alan and Avril were excellent hosts and went above & beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The house is lovely, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and conveniently located between Glasgow and Edinburgh, very close to both. The communal areas are very tastefully decorated and open to guests to use. Our bedroom was extremely clean, very cosy, equipped with just about everything you might need, including a fantastic bed, tea, coffee and even a small bottle of whisky for a nightcap! On both mornings, Alan and Avril cooked us a fantastic breakfast! This has been one of the best hotel experiences and I would thoroughly recommend Station House to anybody. Thank you for hosting us and for making our stay so fabulous. Good luck with the extension project and all the best for 2017.

absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! loved it here - the welcome, the food, the room, THE BREAKFAST!!!! i only gave 5 stars because they didn't have 10

Wir waren zwei Tage Gäste dieses B&B und fühlten uns zwei Tage lang wie gute Freunde des Hauses, obwohl wir noch nie zuvor hier gewesen waren. Die so angenehme Atmosphäre, die die Gastgeber hier schaffen, trägt natürlich zu unserer Bewertung bei. Das B&B ist neu eingerichtet, komfortabel und nach unserem Empfinden im positiven Sinne heimelig; das Frühstück ist fantastisch und reichlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. PS: der einzige Wermutstropfen, den wir hätten, ist die Anfahrt aus Osten. Von der M74 (ein paar Meilen westlich) kommend, gibt es rechtzeitig ein Hinweisschild zum Station House, von Osten her tat sich unser Navi recht schwer mit dem Finden. Aber da ich eh sechs Punkte gegeben hätte, fällt dieser Punktabzug nicht ins Gewicht.
