Mixed review for this place. The rooms were lovely, the staff were helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately it was seriously let down by the breakfast. The booking sites advertise a "superb breakfast". This turned out to be a piece of fruit, a muffin, some cereal and fruit juice in the room. This is certainly not a " superb breakfast". It should be made clearer that they do not provide a proper cooked breakfast. We were told that if we wanted a cooked breakfast, we would have to go to another hotel. It is a shame that such a nice place was let down by this as everything else was good.

We went for a meal for my mams birthday. A party of 5, all of us had a brilliant meal. Started with a sharing board and was absolutely delicious and more than enough for 5 of us. Then two had the huge t-bone / 16oz porterhouse steaks which were cooker to perfection. A little pricey but was delicious and our choice to go that pricey. Others had burgers, sizzling faijtas that looked smelled and sounded delicious and the Mac an cheese lasagna. Cocktails were fabulous with the bartender being extremely friendly and creating a non-menu cocktail for me. Overall lovely experience with very friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Staff didnt seem overly enthused to be there. Cocktail said it comes with a sugar snap pea pod in it - actually came with a green bean floating on top.... they also use plastic straws which I'm sure Darwin would not have been impressed with!

Been here to eat 4 or 5 times now. Each time I'm getting more and more disappointed with the standard of food. This is probably due to the fact it's such a popular place that they're always so busy...leading to a drop in standards.great smoking area however

Definitely a place to try out!! Couldn't fault food or service at all even the cocktails are nice. A bit too nice
