Have eaten there before and been happy, but the Mothers Day meal was not good. Two of our group had the beef which was tough and almost inedible. (Apparently cooked in a water bath). Another had a fish meal which was ok, but the size of a starter. The waiting staff were good, however, although didn't react to our complaint. Disappointing, so will be a while before we venture there again.

Have been staying here for years when visiting Shrewsbury and always a good welcome, clean rooms and great location by the river. Bar is good with a varied selection of find (always a plus!) and the breakfast is brilliant.

Great food, very small portions but extremely good. The room I stayed in was one of their larger ones, but like the food it was also very small, and the walls are incredibly thin!

Food was nice for a Christmas menu. Good selection of drinks. Only downside was room upstairs where eating was fairly cold.
